Swar Bali was incredible bang for buck. Such a beautiful place for what you pay. A nice cosy room, big bed, good shower and toilet. We had a deck with our own lounge chairs overlooking the stunning view. The pool is also superb and the views great. Staff very friendly. Limited choice re breakfast but still great!

Beautiful, beautiful place. Amazing view, lovely cottage, very friendly people, nice little restaurant with a good selection. Not in the main Munduk, but not far away. The reception offers many trips for hiking and other adventures in the area (our stay was sadly to short to try them). Amazing place for a little cooler, quiet get away after visiting other parts of busy Bali. We loved our few days here of just relaxing.

I recently stayed at Munduk Cabins and it was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner offered a great variety of local dishes. I also loved the amenities (pool, massage), which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

Tucked away down of one of those extraordinarily intriguing side lanes – steep, narrow and winding, surprising at every corner, and bathed in the fragrances of so many beautiful flowers and plants –right at the very end is Artomoro, a peaceful little haven in the middle of all this magic. We loved it!
Set deep in the forest, the garden, our room, the dining terrace in the middle of all this, and especially Gede and his lovely family – they all looked after us wonderfully.
Our room and bathroom were immaculate and clean, and a verandah overlooking the forest and deep valley below us, the sky, the moon, the tropical soundscape above and all around us. So beautiful, so peaceful.
Gede and Komang prepared and served us fresh and organic food every day. They also provided all sorts of useful information about local places, attractions and experiences. Gede was able to drive us here and there, which was very helpful. His generosity in sharing cultural, historical and religious knowledge made our days there very special.

The nature is beautiful : waterfalls, jungle, lakes, rice fields, coffee plantation. However, except trekking, there is absolutely nothing to do in this area which is vey secluded. There are no taxis, grab, gojek etc… you have to book a private driver for everything (even going to dinner), which is quite expensive and annoying. We spent 4 nights there and it was too long.

Amazing views to mountains from basically any hotel or restaurant. Many hiking trails to waterfalls or little bit further by the lake. Beautiful nature and very friendly locals. Stayed at Adila Homestay - very nice place with restaurant and many services on site + waterfalls hiking track behind their house. Also visited restaurant Made Warung and warung Kadirasa - both family owned by locals, in Kadirasa I was albe to sing karaoke with the owner. Please go and support them in every way possible, its really hard to survive out here for them.

Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Recommend some level of walking fitness before going - more than 1 500 uphill steps during the day resulted in delayed onset muscle soreness for a couple of days.
Take a GoPro for the waterfalls.
Water temple also worth visiting.

If you want to immerse yourself in nature for a couple of days, this quiet place in the mountains of Munduk is for you.
You'll stay in a cosy cabin, have sweet dreams in a very comfortable king-size bed, and refresh yourself after a full day of exploring in the open air bathroom. I especially liked the kimono's the hotel offers, wish I asked them where to buy 😉.
Moreover the hotel has an excellent restaurant with delicious and healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We had a great stay here!
The view is stunning, and the house is 5 minutes from the Munduk Waterfalls hike. Perfect if you like hiking!
The hotel staff was incredibly nice. They made a fire for us, which we really enjoyed.
Breakfast was delicious! Many options and great cooking.
They have two dogs at the hotel that we also had a good time with.
Munduk is the most beautiful place we have experienced in Bali, and Munduk Clove was the perfect base to explore it from.
Best staff I've ever interacted with at any hotel across the globe. It's beyond just providing excellent service, the staff of Moding are almost all from Munduk and as such you feel like you're joining a community. Everyone makes an effort to learn your name and one thing I loved was how some of the classes/activities offered were proposed and developed by the staff themselves.
The room had one of the best views around Munduk and was definitely pocket friendly. The swimming pool was amazing and very clean. They have a restaurant inside and food is upto the mark, although not the best.
Trek to waterfall starts just next to the hotel.
We stayed in a family room. The room was large with a balcony with a view for the mountains.
The breakfast was good and also the dinner.
There is a motorbike rental near the hotel.
There is a swimming pool with a good view.
