I cannot find anything negative to say about this hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean & very comfortable. The food was delicious, every single time but the outstanding quality of this hotel were the staff…absolutely faultless, friendly and accommodating. A particular mention to Erlin in the restaurant & Aldo at the bar, they really looked after us.

Labuan Bajo is a port harbor with its main attraction, the Komodo Dragon. There are day tours that you can take: Komodo Island with five other stops and Rinca Island with 3 other stops. The harbor master closed Komodo Island for 7 days due to weather but Rinca Island was open. The snorkeling is phenomenal with purple, green coral that look like cauliflower and broccoli florets with many colorful fish. There is no need to book tours ahead. You can walk down to the dock area and book with any of the vendors selling packages. Even the LBJ airport has tours available.
We rented scooters to visit Rangko Cave and nearby Batu Cermin cave. The ride is beautiful and scenic. There is lots of seafood in this port town ranging from sea and lake fish, lobster, crab and squid.
Labuan is worth a three day visit.

I love it here.
I love it here. The people are so friendly, the food is very good, and the scenery is beautiful. You can book many trips, overland or to other islands, and of course see the Komodo dragon.
There are some beautiful beaches too.
I will come back again!

Great area, but the main attraction is the boat trips to visit the surrounding islands, beaches and Komodo dragons. We booked a 2d1n boat trip. We fitted in lots to this short itinerary but a extra night in the boat, as opposed to the land, would have been better.
Seemed more to do at the opposite side of the island but its too far for a day trip.
Great night market down by the port and lots of fresh fish and fruit available for sale.

It’s rare I’m writing reviews. So far, I shared only 5-6. I’m writing only if it was exceptionally amazing experience or a real disaster…
It’s the first time for me to share an extremely negative experience.
When you arrive at hotel, you expect me to feel minimum trust with it
I stayed for 2 nights in this budget hotel. Usually, people traveling to Flores Island to take one of the ‘Komodo island day trips’. They will be picked up very early in the morning (5:30-6:00am). The trip operator gives clear instructions of how to prepare? what to bring? Ect.
Due to the intensity of the day structure, the traveler has to bring a breakfast box (because it will be very long, before food can be in reach).
I asked the hotel manager if they can provide it to me? She confirmed, mentioning it’s a usual procedure in that area.
5:15 I arrived at the reception… no one was there. Neither the breakfast box.
Things can happen, it’s not a big deal…
When returning back from the day trip, I asked reception to shortly talk with the hotel manager, just to understand what happened? The hotel manager refused to communicate and just disappeared until I departed the next day.
I’ve never experienced before such a behavior, specially from a hotel manager…
It raised a big big Red Flag.
Bottom line: I’ll not recommend to arrive in this hotel. Basically, It’s not to be trusted.

Labuan Bajo needs to be careful with how many resorts they are throwing up all over the place. And educate everyone to stay away form the coral and do not touch the sea life. Float and observe. No fins necessary most of the time. You can float and see more and not damage the coral with big clumsy fins.

For those who love nature, I'm really recommend especially to the Island. Everything was soo nature and nice scenery. Spend at least 3 days as to ensure the place must be visited is captured. Local are soo friendly and helpfull. Don't forget to try snorkerlling if thats a trial for anyone.
One of the cleanest places we have stayed at in the whole of Indonesia, the standard is what you expect in Europe , very modern rooms and bathroom , cleaned daily, the staff super helpful, let us store luggage the night before while we went on a road trip and organized our trip to Komodo island cheaper than doing it directly.
Good hot shower and comfortable bed and great aircon.
Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here as we looked at several around Labuan bajo and this was far better than anything we saw for the price
The food was delicious. The location was amazing, with panoramic view of the beautiful beaches of Labuan Bajo. The hotel itself is immaculate, well maintained and very detail oriented. They offer all sorts of activities from cycling, snorkelling and paddle boarding to full day boat tours aboard the well maintained hotel boats. Overall, excellent experience. I need to mention the staff as it was a highlight. They were extremely attentive and polite and made the experience so much better.
The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and fast. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning and hot shower both worked well. There is a delicious restaurant next door with a little gelato place too. It was a 15 minute walk to the main drag of Labuan Bajo but we found it an enjoyable walk. We were easily able to walk to the airport from the hotel, only 5 minute walk. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.
A great location, just off the main road. The room itself doesn't have a view, but from the common room you get the best view in Labuan Bajo. The room was wonderful, nicely designed, with a lot of wood. Hot water, airconditioning all worked flawlessly. The room is spacious, and so is the bathroom, both very clean, and the beautiful garden is well maintained. I loved the breakfast. Suni is a great host! I hope I will be able to come back here.
Good hotel location in Waecicu beach, at 10 minutes driving from Labuan Bajo city centre. We stayed in a garden cottage at the beachfront. The beach is walkable and the spot is quiet. Excellent price and very rich breakfast buffet. TheyWe would chose it again for resting couple of days and do the Komodo tour (they gave us the contact of a tours which was at good price compared to others)/diving activities in the area.
We had the most amazing stay at Menjaga Bay. The villas are gorgeous, honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The pool and restaurant area is stunning, the walkway to the bar at the end of the pier is really cool and we had a delicious cocktail whilst watching the sunset. We loved our ocean room. Would 100% recommend if travelling to Labuan Bajo and would love to return one day!
Absolutely amazing hotel and coffee shop. Staff are so amazing and go above and beyond. The lovely ladies that work in the coffee shop are amazing sweet souls. The rooms were great. Everything about this place was wonderful. Ps the food and drinks at the coffee shop were absolutely delicious and by far the best on the island. Cannot recommend this place enough.
The staff is very friendly and it solve any problems with kind suggestions. We love the position completely out of touristic streets but for someone who prefer touristic area it could be too "wild". But for whom is looking for an authentic experience Cool Breeze is the perfect place to stay in Labuan Bajo. The Hotel is perfect renovated
Denny, the man who received in the hotel, was amazing with us! He helped us to organize our boat trip, recommended the best restaurants and gave us some places to visit in Labuan Bajo.
The location of the hotel it's the best, close to everything, you barely need a motorbike.
The bed was comfy and the hotel was cheap.
By far this is the best place we stay at Labuan Bajo for a very reasonable price. The hotel is really clean, the breakfast is generous and tasty. The rooms are large and the bathrooms clean and with hot water. Super swimming pool and Italian restaurant! The staff is professional and very kind. Highly recommend it.
Elegant and Santorini-inspired hotel - very elegant and beautiful. Price is on the high side, but it's fair. Clean and gorgeous public and private pool, overlooking breathtaking sunset of Labuan Bajo. Walking distance to Kampung Ujung (seafood place) and the main street of Labuan Bajo.
This place has the best views in Labuan Bajo. From your window and balcony you look directly over the sea. It's magnificent. It's far from anywhere else so you need to hire a car or bike but it's perfect for peaceful relaxation. The restaurant food is OK but a small menu.
One of the few place in Labuan Bajo that was reasonably priced. It was centrally located, and the rooms were big and spacious. The included breakfast was excellent and so was the coffee / drinks. Staff were very friendly.
Our villa was amazing, very well thought-through space, great ambience!
Common pool area is beautiful.
Staff is always super friendly and helpful.
Overall if in Labuan Bajo would consider hotel as a top choice.
We came to Labuan Bajo especially for Komodo tour. Hotel is simply but nice, perfect for short term staying. Breakfast was OK. Downtown and airport is 10 min ride. Host offers transfer from airport for free.
