perfect perfect perfect. close to the harbour, most people stay further away so it was super quiet. I could easily travel to the west for sunset, and sunrise breakfasts were perfect. Sam looked after me and i enjoyed the outdoor shower, hammock on the balcony and chatting with all the locals. super cheap compared to other places as longas you don't mind to walk 10 minutes to anywhere else on thre island

Villa Samalas exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, the little bungalows are spacious and well equipped, and the location very close to the beach couldn't be better. Moreover, the personal is extremely friendly and we felt that they tried everything to make our stay great.
There were two things that I was a bit worried about reading about them in other reviews: breakfast and internet. However, both turned out to be great. Internet was working perfectly well while we were there. Also, we really liked the included breakfast. Yes, you get exactly one juice, one hot beverage, one dish and fruits, but we always felt that it was more than enough and it was delicious.

I tried all small warung around most of them were cheap and rather good with nice people doing the service and halping you !
In gili Meno you can rent bike and this is really great to travel all around this wonderful island

If you want to be on an island this is perfect. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Nice to walk around whole island and see the different sides to it. Was a very friendly and slow pace perfect.

This island is the best. Coming here for over 20 years. The island people are very friendly & helpful. Our host at fantastic cottages was exceptional. Extremely helpful and accommodating.
If you want tranquility and friendliness this is the place to go. Beautiful beaches, turtles and food.
Also it is a haven for cats. No dogs allowed to wonder around.

Perfect tropical island location in the middle of crystal clear waters if you just want to disappear and recharge. Fantastic, well trained and courteous staff, great food, snorkelling, diving and silence.

Gili Meno is the quietest island as there are not really...
Gili Meno is the quietest island as there are not really proper roads , just a short part around the port has paving stones - there are a few bicycles for hire and two pony and carts operating to transport tourists and their luggage. Walking is the best way to get around and the distances are short! The locals get around on foot or electric scooters.
It is a popular place for couples. We only stayed on the eastern side near the port, the beach area South of the port is lovely and this is where we spent most of our time. There is great snorkling just off the beach, there are a couple of warungs who set up tables on the sand, we loved sitting there at sunset time and enjoyed the views of Gili Air and Lombok. I found it was best to stick with the local seafood dishes - snapper and prawns were our favourite. Very good price too.
I found it was worth paying a bit extra to be at accomodation on the beach -avoid going inland . We stayed at Biru Meno and the location was incredible, worth it for the experience and to enjoy what the island has to offer. If you stay there you have to try the wood fired pizza.

The position of the bungalows couldn’t be improved. There’s lots of seating options, sun beds or cushions on the beach.Staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. A nice touch was a surprise complimentary delicious deep fried banana one afternoon. Perfect for snorkelling, loads of beautiful fish, turtles and coral.
I absolutely loved this place! Everyone is so nice and warm here and tries to help you even with the smallest problems. Breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruits and juices. And jacuzzi in front of villa was really good addition to all of this) The pool with ocean water was also good, I loved to swim there every morning. Also you can rent bicycle in the hotel and go around an island.
I’m gonna miss this place. And I definitely will stay here if I’ll come to Gili Meno again.

This place is amazing. The bathroom is just so big! Very clean as well. Nice little garden outside the room overlooking the balcony. The bed is huge. Everything you need is in the room. Couldn’t ask for more. It has fridge, water dispenser. The owner, Dean, is amazing. His daughter Eni, is the best. She prepares our breakfast daily. Really happy to have the pleasure of know her and spending quality time with her. This place is spectacular. Would definitely come back!

We had one of the best time in this BnB! The team are fantastic! Made is the best host we ever had, he is very knowledgeable about the island, make the best breakfast and if you have a chance to talk to him, has a very interesting life to tell. The other boys, Zidane and Randy were great as well. Always with a smile.
Our room was very nice and spacious, clean and cosy. We also use the pool and overall it made our stay on Meno ideal. We would come back there anytime and please stay there!!
Really good value stay. This property probably has the best/biggest pool on Gili Meno as well as private pools for some villas. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Lovely breakfasts each morning. Very thorough daily room cleaning. Beautiful gardens with Bougainvillea surrounded by palm trees and a 5 minute cycle to Divine Divers which has great snorkelling right outside. Peaceful part of the island.
This place is just gorgeous with prime location at a beautiful sandy beach of Gili Meno with fantastic snorkeling sites a swim away. Staff in this hotel was the best I have experienced in Indonesia-friendly, supportive, sensitive to all needs and just trying to make our stay as smooth and pleasant as possible. The restaurant offers reasonably priced, yet excellent menu and drinks were top notch too.
We had a fantastic stay at Kampung Meno Bungalows. Sylvie is a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. The food was a definite highlight - some of the best we had on our trip. The bungalows are in a beautiful, peaceful setting, surrounded by gardens, and an easy walk to either side of the island. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace out the front of our bungalow, and floating around in the pool.
Great little hotel in front of an stunning beach, with lots of turtles (we saw 23 in total.. crazy!) swimming around you of different types and sizes, an incredible experience!, water shoes are ESSENTIAL for swiming as the whole beach is broken coral and very spikey. Great service all around, Mr. Putra was super sweet and of a lot of help, like everyone else, who made our stay a very special one.

Mahamaya and Gili Meno Island is paradis on earth! The view, the beach, the water was beautifully. Lots of big turtles! The restaurant had very very good food. The employees was kind and helpful. And as a bonus “Devine dive” school was right next door where our teens did open water dive certificates.
The staff were very friendly - Rita, Leo and Nanda were all incredibly kind and the owner was very approachable. Delightfully peaceful location, with without a doubt the best beach on the island. Rooms were to a very high standard and exceptionally clean. The cat Panda was very cute too.

We had a very pleasant stay at Balenta. The host Ben made sure we felt at home and was always in for a talk. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh juices and the best banana pancakes! For good snorkelling and delicious cocktails you should walk a little bit north to Seri Resort.
It seemed more authentic and had a nice island vibe. Also I enjoyed watching the staff teach diving in the pool.
Also you can get transport from other islands right to the beach front. Becky can help with this which was extremely helpful.
Beautiful resort with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The beach huts were light and perfectly designed, pool and loungers were lovely and restaurant food delicious. We enjoyed a movie night on the beach too!
