perfect perfect perfect. close to the harbour, most people stay further away so it was super quiet. I could easily travel to the west for sunset, and sunrise breakfasts were perfect. Sam looked after me and i enjoyed the outdoor shower, hammock on the balcony and chatting with all the locals. super cheap compared to other places as longas you don't mind to walk 10 minutes to anywhere else on thre island

Villa Samalas exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, the little bungalows are spacious and well equipped, and the location very close to the beach couldn't be better. Moreover, the personal is extremely friendly and we felt that they tried everything to make our stay great.
There were two things that I was a bit worried about reading about them in other reviews: breakfast and internet. However, both turned out to be great. Internet was working perfectly well while we were there. Also, we really liked the included breakfast. Yes, you get exactly one juice, one hot beverage, one dish and fruits, but we always felt that it was more than enough and it was delicious.

If you want to be on an island this is perfect. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Nice to walk around whole island and see the different sides to it. Was a very friendly and slow pace perfect.

This island is the best. Coming here for over 20 years. The island people are very friendly & helpful. Our host at fantastic cottages was exceptional. Extremely helpful and accommodating.
If you want tranquility and friendliness this is the place to go. Beautiful beaches, turtles and food.
Also it is a haven for cats. No dogs allowed to wonder around.

Gili Meno is the quietest island as there are not really...
Gili Meno is the quietest island as there are not really proper roads , just a short part around the port has paving stones - there are a few bicycles for hire and two pony and carts operating to transport tourists and their luggage. Walking is the best way to get around and the distances are short! The locals get around on foot or electric scooters.
It is a popular place for couples. We only stayed on the eastern side near the port, the beach area South of the port is lovely and this is where we spent most of our time. There is great snorkling just off the beach, there are a couple of warungs who set up tables on the sand, we loved sitting there at sunset time and enjoyed the views of Gili Air and Lombok. I found it was best to stick with the local seafood dishes - snapper and prawns were our favourite. Very good price too.
I found it was worth paying a bit extra to be at accomodation on the beach -avoid going inland . We stayed at Biru Meno and the location was incredible, worth it for the experience and to enjoy what the island has to offer. If you stay there you have to try the wood fired pizza.

The position of the bungalows couldn’t be improved. There’s lots of seating options, sun beds or cushions on the beach.Staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. A nice touch was a surprise complimentary delicious deep fried banana one afternoon. Perfect for snorkelling, loads of beautiful fish, turtles and coral.
Claudia (the owner of this place) is the heart and soul of this place and made our stay very pleasant as she took loads of time before we arrived in Gili Meno and answered all our questions and is a lovely person and always there to help you onsite. Furthermore, the location in the middle of the island is very advantageous as you reach every point of the island relatively quick by bike, which you can rent in the hotel. We had our room cleaned every third day, which was really sufficient. The AC worked perfect and the bathroom
This place is amazing. The bathroom is just so big! Very clean as well. Nice little garden outside the room overlooking the balcony. The bed is huge. Everything you need is in the room. Couldn’t ask for more. It has fridge, water dispenser. The owner, Dean, is amazing. His daughter Eni, is the best. She prepares our breakfast daily. Really happy to have the pleasure of know her and spending quality time with her. This place is spectacular. Would definitely come back!

The location of Mahamaya is stunning: right on the white sand beach next to clear blue seas.
The food here is also excellent - we especially enjoyed nasi goreng. And the happy hour cocktails at sunset are not to be missed (try the coconut daiquiri).
The hotel organised a wonderful private snorkeling tour for us where we saw sea turtles and beautiful tropical fish. And when it was time to leave, they helped us book a private boat taxi to the next island on our trip. Can't recommend enough!
We really enjoyed staying at the Pravasa and on the island of Gili Meno. The hotel has recently opened and the style is lovely! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There are bikes included at the hotel so we used those to cycle around the island, to beaches etc. However it’s a short walk to the beach and beach bars. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing there for a few hours before going out to dinner. It’s a super quiet and peaceful location right by the salt lake.
The bungalows are located in a nice part of Gili Meno walking distance to the nicest beach on the island. You can snorkel in front of the guesthouse but it isn't safely accessible for kids, i.e. you need to wade far out to get to the snorkelling area. The bungalows themselves were very clean and the property itself was very well maintained. The restaurant is right on the beach and makes for a great place to have a drink and watch the sunset.

Best side of Gili Meno to stay to avoid noise
Great little hotel in front of an stunning beach, with lots of turtles (we saw 23 in total.. crazy!) swimming around you of different types and sizes, an incredible experience!, water shoes are ESSENTIAL for swiming as the whole beach is broken coral and very spikey. Great service all around, Mr. Putra was super sweet and of a lot of help, like everyone else, who made our stay a very special one.
Best boutique hotel on Gili Meno right by the best snorkeling spot on the island (so many turtles!!). Spacious and well-appointed rooms with fabulous outdoor shower. Staff are sweet (and make the best cappuccinos) - the unlimited breakfast on the beach is truly fabulous!

I like this bungalow! Friendly & helpful staffs 😃 They have delicious food. The best food compare with restaurant in Gili Trawangan & Gili Air. Affordable price. I have nice evening with the Ana, the owner and staffs. We did karaoke 🤩 Definitely I will back to Ana Warung & bunglows.
