Our stay at Jago Gili Air couldn’t be more perfect! Room is modern and clean and the staff cleans it every day. The pool area is amazing, they also have a bar so you can chill and order some drinks. Breakfast was the best we had in Bali and Gilis- you should try their smoothie bowls (they are better than in most brunch places in Bali!). The staff was the kindest and we are so grateful we met them! This was our definetly our best stay! I would recommend this place to everyone coming to Gili Air, you will not be dissapointed.

The cottages are wonderful, with everything you need in the room for storage, a very comfortable bed with clean and soft sheets, and a stunning outdoor-ish bathroom with plants.
The place is also currently still improving with new additions, for example black out curtains were even added to our room for our last night, a great plus.
The surroundings of the cottages are peaceful and beautiful with lots of trees, flowers and plants. The pool is big and clean.
The location is ideal, nearby the beach on the east side of the island which is perfect for snorkeling at high tide.
The hosts are so kind and helpful!

Our favourite of 3 beach locations we stayed. Quiet location. Super snorkelling. Lots of turtles straight off the beach every day. Further out was excellent coral and tropical fish. Staff were great and very helpful. In the evening the male staff would play guitar and sing together. Several good restaurants withi a 5-minutee walk.The pooll was clean, good size and shallow area for children. Fresh fruit drinks were very good.

Small island, but with many hidden treasures.
The main street, right in front of Gili Air Port, takes 10 minutes, but has everything you need, from small artisan stores, small markets, nice restaurants, yoga and massage centers, snorkeling excursions and more.
It's not an island for partying, but for relaxing. You should bear in mind that the main religion is Islam, and yes you will hear the 5 flames of prayer all over the island, but it is quite tolerant, although I would advise you, for the sake of respect, not to walk around in bikinis.
On the south and east sides you can see a wonderful sunrise, but it's the sunset on the north and west that brings a lot of people to the terraces and is a real event.
Definitely one to return to.

Lovely place. We stayed 2 nights. Beaches beautiful for spotting turtles however still much rubbish which is very sad. Colours weee incredible of the sea and neighbouring Lombok.
We did not like the horse and carts on the island. Horses are small and looked not very well and pulled heavy, fat tourists with all their luggage. Cruel. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the island.

In all honesty, it wasn’t a terrible place but it was not the best part of our vacation. The ferries (fast boat) there and back to Bali were an actual nightmare, with waves as tall as the boat and so much seasickness.
On the island the food was ok, but not a huge amount of good choices.
The people on the island were lovely, but a little bit pushy to come to their restaurants / do their activities, which got annoying after a while.
The Gili islands are Muslim communities, so bear this in mind, as the call to prayer woke us up every morning at 4am, and as it was Ramadan, the prayer was on speaker phone to the whole island from 9pm until 4am. We could not sleep.
Also if it rains, there is isn’t a huge amount to do and your feet will get wet and muddy in all the puddles. However there are some good yoga classes that you can go to.

The entire experience at Pink Coco was fantastic from beginning to end. The island of Gili Air was a delight and easy to get to from Bali. After a short ride by horse and buggy Marnie met us at the welcoming room and took amazing care of us the entire time we were there as did all the employees. The room was wonderful and made us want to stay inside and read our books but the pool and spa were calling. This is definitely the very best place to stay on the island. We fell in love with Pink Coco and will definitely go back.
Follow the Rabbit is a freshly renovated Bungalow Complex owned by one of the nicest persons we met during our travels. The Hotel is located near the best snorkling point on Gili Air, with the highest chance to see some Sea Turtles. Zakki, the owner, is an Indonesia Travel Expert and we felt very welcome. He also helped us a lot with booking the Ferry Tickets and even helped us book a driver on the next island.
Can only recommend staying here to get some of the best tips for your further travel.

Basic bungalow but very comfortable and welcoming! The owners are so kind and considerate and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Bungalow is just what you need as a base to enjoy Gili Air. Accommodation has a comfy bed, good mosquito net, and a hammock to chill in. Breakfast was yum, and accommodating for vegans. Overall, excellent value for money and we enjoyed our stay so much that we are considering returning to Gili Air at the end of our travels in Indonesia.
A hotel you will never want to leave. I booked Pink Coco Gili Air as a nice little treat for my partners birthday and the incredibly friendly staff helped make it a magical experience for her. No task was too big or too small, always carried out with a smile.
The pool is beautiful and the sun set too! This really is the only good choice you need to make when visiting Gili Air.

Communication and customer service is top notch. It doesn’t get any better than this. Everything we needed was a WhatsApp message away. Responses were always prompt and clear and our concerns were always addressed.
We stayed in the 3BR villa for 7 days which was comfortable and in a quiet area. Days spent in Gili Air are unforgettable and the team of Akasia villa made us feel at home.
All amenities worked perfectly and we never had issues in electricity or in hot water.
Before booking I read all the negative reviews and honestly have not had any issues that people described. Having a private garden/poolside area was great. The staff were all amazing.

I did stay there a little bit off-season, so the prices were not at their more extreme end, and I found that it was absolutely worth it.
Located on the nicest beach in Gili Air, walk straight into the crystal clear water, only metres from your bungalow. The accommodation is very good value for money. It’s an easy walk from the harbour and plenty of restaurants close by.
Nice quiet area for good sleeping. Great service on the beachfront for breakfast and free day beds. Friendly and helpful staff I wish we stayed more than three nights.

Loved the location and the property’s character. The staff were great, friendly, and responsive. Cheaper to have staff arrange a bike rental if you’re planning on getting one. They cleaned my room every 2 days. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back to Gili air.
