Beautiful place! The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to help us - they prepared an early breakfast for us, and we were able to leave our stuff in our room when we went on an overnight hiking trip to Mt Rinjani, and they booked a car to get us back to the harbour. They also have scooter rental and can arrange tours. Worth noting that the location is not actually in Senaru but the village adjacent to it (around 20 minutes by drive), not much around the hotel however it's a lovely area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rinjani Eco Villa. The rooms were nice, the surrounding was beautiful and great food! The service was 10/10. Andi and his friends were a great help and very good at singing and playing the guitar. Their English was also very good! We didn't get to say goodbye unfortunately but we had a great stay :) Thanks guys!

The little room/ house is such a vibe! As if you are in a tree house. The owners are lovely and really friendly. Good affordable choice for a night sleep and off to the road

I didn't like anything about this hotel. I would recommend going to Rinjani Lodge or Pondok Senaru Cottages. You'll be treated very well there!

Ila's Homestay is a perfect stay if you want to visit Senaru, the waterfalls or the Rinjani. We stayed at Ila Homestay because we wanted to climb the Rinjani and wanted to book by a local instead of a European travel agency/tour operator #supportthelocals. And we are very happy we did! Jul runs this homestay together with his wife. They own a couple of rooms located close to the start of the Rinjani climb in Senaru. We stayed at Ila's Homestay for one night before we went up the mountain with his younger brother as our guide (named Fun). Our stay: We arrived very late and started the trekking the next day. So the only thing we did was eating and sleeping at the homestay. The food was good and the room is spacious and clean. We had a fan and a mosquito net and the bed was perfect. Our trekking with Fun: Without lying, trekking the Rinjani with Fun was the literal highlight of our whole trip through Indonesia. Fun is a young guide that is the most polite, patient and fun (hehe) guide ever. And also, we were taken care of very very well by the porters. We got to eat a lot of food, get a lot of drinks and as much attention as we wanted and needed. And also we had the best place for our tent on the crater rim and we were the only ones with a camp fire in the night!! All in all, our trekking was wonderful. One we would not ever forget. Because we were quite fast with climbing the vulcano, this meant that our porters, who prepared our lunch, could go up the mountain as one of the first porters. By doing that, they secured a very good spot on the crater rim for our tent. On one side of our tent, while lying in bed, we could see the sunrise above the vulcano. On the other side of our tent, we could see the Gili island and even Bali! The views were magnificent. In the night, it gets really cold. Together with the porters Fun gathered some wood for a bonfire to warm ourselves. The whole experience was scenic and unforgettable.

Friendly staff. Its very basic but Low cost and near Rinjani Dawn Adventures. Staff Will help you, brought some tea and help you with your questions. Beautiful garden!

We literally liked everything about this place. From the super friendly and helpful owner/staff to the amazing view of the mountain, and everything in between. Plus, it is a walking distance to the two famous waterfalls I highly recommend this place and I would personally stay there again when I'm in the area
