The villa was amazing and really convenient that each room has it's own bathroom. The pool area is large with various areas to relax during the day. The host was friendly and responded to all questions promptly to ensure we all had a great holiday! Great location in a relaxing area with easy access to Dubrovnik.

The apartment we stayed in was quite big, had a nice sea view and sunset view right in front of it and had everything we needed (electric stove, microwave, cutlery, etc.). The property has 2 pools, both with gorgeous views and is very quiet and clean. Great location, really close to the beach and 2 restaurants. The host was really nice, waited for us on a storm at 10pm and explained everyhing we needed, even gave us recommendations of where to eat and what to visit and checked in on us to see if we’re happy with everything at the location. We will definitely come back since it has become our favourite location! ❤️❤️

This is a new hyper-modern apartment with everything you can think of. A major bonus for us was free private parking in the garage under the building and a great large kitchen. There are 2 small grocery stores a few walking minutes away. The beds felt like a cloud, super comfortable.

Very nice and charming place, old building but renewed. Nice space to chill outside. Very clean!!! Loved it. It is not as close to the beach, at least 20 min walking. The owners are very helpful. Beautiful nature around.
Zaton is just off the main road. Good restaurants, excellent beaches for snorkelling, lovely headland to explore to find more secluded beaches. Boat trips leave from here although the harbour is very busy for parking.
Studenac had everything we needed grocery wise. Trsteno Arboretum is a short drive away and the harbour below is beautiful. It is a 15 minute drive to Port Gruz where you can park to get a local bus into Dubrovnik (there is a tourist information in Port Gruz where you can buy Dubrovnik passes). Enjoyed a day at the Walls of Ston. Would recommend Blue Planet Diving for a scuba experience.

Very quiet resort , lovely waterfront restaurants . There was one slightly more lively bar on the front , not sure what time that closed ? We like swimming and snorkeling which was rally good around the headland . There is a local supermarket but it seemed to close most days at 16.00 hrs so get your shopping early ! Also there is a little roadside kiosk/shop that sells fresh bread and pastries etc. Really liked the area , very sleepy mostly but easy 15 minutes in taxi to Dubrovnik .

Beautiful bay within walking distance of our villa. Shops, bars and restaurants were all easily accessible and within walking distance but I would recommend a hire car to maximise your stay. Gusto's grill was a on the corner of our street and their take away pizzas are a must!

Zaton is beautiful and quiet and not over developed.
Zaton is beautiful and quiet and not over developed. The sea is beautiful and a joy to swim in. It is close enough to Dubrovnik for frequent visits if you want more excitement and is definitely worth visiting at least twice. However, even if you don.t manage to get there, Zaton would not disappoint. I could go back and content myself relaxing by the Adriatic.
My top tip would be to ask for quotes when booking taxis and in our experience , the local taxi firm was the cheapest.
I would like to thank Mrs. Karmen and her daughter Ilinka for the pleasant welcome and hospitality, truly wonderful ladies who welcomed me very warmly!
The rooms are neat and clean, the location offers a nice view of the Zaton Bay and the road to Bjelopera rooms is easily accessible by car (a big advantage is that they have their own private parking lot so you don't have to think about where to park your car).
If you are looking for accommodation in Zaton, I recommend you Bjelopera Rooms!
Cozy, big and comfortable room in a quiet area. Short walk (uphill) from the beach, where also the restaurants are. AC and full kitchen in the room, balcony. Nice, slow-paced little village if you're looking for a couple of days getaway from the city. Beautiful and not super crowded beaches. Bus to Dubrovnik stops right in front of the property (no bus stop sign but ask the exact spot from the hosts). Very nice and accommodating hosts, who also helped me with the bus timetables. Good value!
The guest room was clean and nicely furnished. The wood was The hosts welcomed us rapidly, explained to us where the beach is and restaurants are. The guest house is actually well connected to supermarkets (5 min walk) as well as restaurants where to dine.
We really appreciated the hosts. They proactively warned about a storm coming and covered our car for protection. We appreciate that.

The place was very nice and clean. The host was lovely and made sure we had a good time. We had two rooms and a small kitchen which was very useful. The pool area is nice and there is also outdoor barbeque place which was great.
The Zaton area is nice place to stay and its also easy and fast to get to the Dubrovnik Old Town. There was also a market and few restaurants very near the apartment. We had a great vacation and would definitely recommend this place!❤️
The host Maja gave us a warm welcome. She showed genuine concern for us and helped us out with recommendations and day to day necessities such as borrowing an umbrella when it rained.
The location of the apartment was also superb. Though a good 20 minute drive from Dubrovnik old town, the blue water view and relaxing at the apartment's beach area was worth staying a little further away from the old town
We were visiting the old town in Dubrovnik but didn't want to stay in Dubrovnik. Villa mare was a few kilometers away with a convenient bus service to avoid the hassle of finding parking. Although Zaton was quite small in was situated in a lovely bay with a couple of decent restaurants.
The owner and family were very friendly and helpful with advice about the area and bus services into Dubrovnik.

There are a couple of really nice restaurants nearby (a bit pricey though), two beaches a few minutes away (a smaller one 5 min in one direction and a slightly bigger one maybe 20 min walking in the opposite direction) and Dubrovnik is 20 min away by Uber (15 euros).
A great , fresh lace to stay. Very family friendly! The host Ira did that little extra to make it a pleasant stay. For instance providing some extra toys for the children making some of the rainier days easier.
The surroundings (Zaton) has nice harbour area, some restaurants and a beatiful coastal line.
The property is very close to Dubrovnik old town. It is convenient if you travel through this route. We stop every year in this hotel. The swimming pool is great if you travel with kids. Mine love the pool and the sea is close by ,too. You can enjoy the view from the swimming pool.
