I cant describe with simple words how wonderfull was Villa ROZA. The place of my dreams. The romantic cabins you see in movies.
Its seclyuded a few steps away from magnificient village Ston. Super tranquile and cozy. The terace facing fruit garden, walkway with hanging grapes everywhere. Surounded by magnificant mountains.
The host is handsome and super helpfull man.
From now on i will compare every other stay with apt. ROZA.
Loved every second i stayed there.
Thank you.

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from Split to Dubrovnick. It was a disappointment as far as the oysters were concerned, being the oyster center for Croatia. They were just
extremely expensive and there were no deals to enjoy them at a
decent price. If we had more time we would have gone to an island
instead...

We really enjoyed our time in Ston, it is nice and small, yet full of amazing history and things to do. The hike up the wall of Ston to Mali Ston was great and not too difficult. Beautiful sights from the top!

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls.
Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls. Ston is a much smaller, calmer, quieter, and more authentic version of many of the overly touristy walled old towns along the coast. Large sections are still not renovated however. The town has a few shops but mostly cafes/restaurants and locals housing. Lacks the luxury shops and glitz of Dubrovnik but also the crowds. A bit overpriced to walk the walls but presumably the entry fee helps with further repairs and restoration. The (still) working salt flats are interesting and they have opportunities to join in the harvesting. The city parking lots outside the walls are all paid which seems shortsighted and silly if they really want to bring in tourism.

history, great local wine and food, clear blue sea and no crowds; vacation as it should be :) the area is famous for oysters and mussels and many restaurants serve them from their own farms; not to be missed; the hike over the city walls (connecting Ston and Mali Ston) offers great views over the area, oyster farms, salt panes and isles...on both sides of the wall hike are very nice restaurants offer freshest sea food and light, local wine - just what you need on a hot day

Incredible place, very picturesque.
Incredible place, very picturesque. It’s small so one night is ideal. Check buses before you go as only a few buses go into Ston centre (number 15 from Dubrovnik) - but leaving to go north by bus can be tricky. We had a lovely time and are grateful to a local who dropped us at the other bus station in Zaton Doli for our onward journey to Split!
Ston is a charming little town and Ina and Ante are the most charming hosts in Ston. Their apartment is clean, spacious, with all the necessary facilities, located just under the famous Ston walls. Ina and Ante were most welcoming and gracious, provoding us with home grown figs and tomates, as well as home made sweets. We particularly enjoyed having a breakfeast on the terrace, under the shade of numerous Mediterranean plants and trees. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.
Its location which was literally 10 steps away from the beach, and next door is a great seafood restaurant (Kapetanova Kuca) belonging to the hotel.
The hotel used to be a family home and the decor is very much old-school-family-home decor - very quaint, very homey and very cosy, so apart from the reception counter, the hotel doesn't feel like a hotel at all. But it has all the hotel amenities in the bathrooms and bedrooms.
Perfect. Location was great to explore the Pelljesac Peninsula, Korcula and Dubrovnik. We loved the Ston area and being in the quiet village of Luka was fabulous! Our host was very accomodating and the apartment was wonderful with everything we needed and a wonderful balcony and view to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon wine.
Quiet, peaceful, rural. 200m from the local restaurant and the sea for swimming.
The hosts are delightful and presented us with vegetables, fruit and eggs, all home grown.
If you have a car, many other opportunities for the sea and several great restaurants. Ston is 3km away with shops, restaurants, ATMs.
The Hotel and their Kpetan's restaurant were very convenient. The walk on the city walls was not easy, but very scenic. It is a part of Croatia that I did not know, but it was worth seeing and getting to know. Most aspects of the stay ver very satisfactory. It was a good place to spend my wife's birthday.
Amazing room, very clean, nice and comfortable bed. In the centre of Ston, hostess Sanja was very amazing and approachable as well as nice to us. She gave us directions about parking as well as restaurant reccomendation. For the price this is amazing find in Ston during summer!
It is a complete apartment with kitchen and a huge balcony. The place is scenic and idyllic, one should stay a day longer just to relax. Also the road to the apartment is unique - directly through the water of the salt factory. Once can have a beautiful walk to Ston.
Absolutely gorgeous property with pomegranate trees and a stunning view. Little stone house is charming and a great, large room for a stay. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, even bringing us zucchini fritters one morning. Highly recommend.
The location of this apartment is fantastic! It was very clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful with lots of great recommendations for places to visit/eat, and very kindly arranged free parking in Ston and Mail Ston.
We only stayed for one night. Maybe we lacked cleanliness a little, because the dust under the bed did not make us happy. We lived in a second-floor apartment with a comfortable balcony and a view of the town of Ston.
Property location is inside the old town of Ston, which is full of history. Our stay was enormously eased by the help from Paulo (aka Mr Fixit) who helped with access, luggage and eating recommendations.
Located in old town Ston, near many restaurants and local stores. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Room was flawlessly clean with spacious bathroom. Best omelette I had in a while! Recommend!
Nice stay close to Ston with amenities. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Interesting to get to as you have to drive on a beach and up an incline. House is secluded and right on the water.
Adorable hotel with kind people! We loved the art that was hanging all over the hotel - beautiful! We enjoyed our stay in Mali Ston and were so grateful to try the legendary oysters!
Very modern and beautifully decorated. Large comfortable king bed. Hostess even let us leave our car parked at the property beyond check out time so we could explore Ston on foot.
The location is very central, right within the walls of Ston. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was a bit dated, but very clean and large enough.
