This apartment felt like home for the week; it was clean and comfortable, plenty of space for two people and with a very private terrace with a view of the sea. Our lovely host Anka could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and when we arrived we were given a great description of places to visit on the island. The location of the apartment is very convenient, just a few minutes walk down to the restaurants and shops, but far enough away for peace and privacy.
I would recommend this place to anyone; it was an absolute pleasure to stay here.
Also, the Wifi was excellent, there was plenty of hot water, and the kitchen is very well kitted-out for self-catering.

Exceptional hotel, the attention to detail is world class from the point of reception through to departure. A small village with everything you need. We went to beaches all over the island. The advantage of Sali is the nearby national park Telascica.
There was also an exceptional restaurant in Sali called Garoful. I highly recommend a visit.

Sali is probably the best base to use on the island.
Sali is probably the best base to use on the island. It has a ferry to Zadar three times a day, loads (maybe 5 or 6) restaurants, a sizable supermarket and quite a few cafe's and taverns.
It also has a helpful tourist office where you can rent cars or scooters, although these are not cheap. The only petrol station on the island is in the next village about 4kms away.
Talascia NP is a 5 minute drive away from the town and well worth a day trip.
All the beaches are shingle and aren't really beaches, just little coves.
The very best is half way up the island and directly across on the opposite side of the island to Brbinj. Very difficult to find without google maps set to satellite mode which shows the actual concrete access road.
A one hour drive will take you the full length of the island.

Very nice, cozy place. We ate dinner couple of times in Cookhouse & Bar GAROFUL. It is nice place to have a meal with beautiful sea view. From Sali it is very easy to get to other part of the Long island, and to organize nice boat trip to Kornati national park and Telascica nature park. All in all, I was quite impressed with Sali and Long island in general with all that beauty and big blue I saw around. It is worth of visiting at least once in your life time. Strongly recommended! :-)

We loved Sali!
We loved Sali! It is a quaint little town that has everything you need! The beach was one of the best ones on the island, rocky, with lots of trees that provide shade throughout the day and numerous little inlets that offer privacy from other beach visitors. Great for snorkeling and swimming. Sali also has a supermarket and several restaurants, a wonderful gelateria to have ice cream, and almost no traffic. It is the perfect place to relax, have long walks, swim or eat out. I highly recommend it.

Good "Tommy" supermarket at the ferry jetty. Open 7:00 - 21:00. And 2 bakery shops plus some restaurants.
Apart from summer you are locked up in the place, because there is no bus to the rest of this (long) island and renting a scooter costs you 48 € for one day low-season!

We spent a lot of time at the beach.
We spent a lot of time at the beach. The beach is just beautiful, although some people might have trouble entering the sea. There is a great beach bar nearby.
We had dinner at Trapula and Marinov Magazin. Trapula was a little below our expectation when it comes to interior design but the food was great. Marinov Magazin blew us off. The view is amazing and the food is even better!
I'm definitely coming back here!
I think this is really a best value for money apprtment in Sali and really luxurious apprtment in general. For two people we got a huge terrace, another small terrace in the garden, barbecue and a dinning table in the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, air-conditioning, sound system, tv, and really everything you would need to relax and have a great time. Also host Mauro was really at our disposal about anything we needed or asked and I can really recommend this as the best apartment in Sali for two people.
A perfect apartment for 2-5 people. Tamara and Marco are awesome hosts and can answer any question you got or book you some trips and tours.

The rooms are very clean and there are two bathrooms (one with a big shower).
The house is a little bit over the small village Sali so it's not noisy while you are sleeping or chilling in the own jacuzzi on the balkony.

The object has a great location just 10 min walk from center of Sali, and same by car from entrance to Telaščica nature park, it is secluded on a quiet location. The terrace with a sea view is perfect for long evenings. Parking is spacious. House is nicely decorated and equipped with 2 ACs of which one is in bedroom. Bed was very comfortable.
Kitchen is big and well equipped with big fridge. Two toilets are convinent. The owners were really kind. We enjoyed our stay!
Has to be the best location with the best terrace/balcony in Sali. Fantastic, sit outside in the morning with a coffee and watch Sali wake up. Or a bottle or wine, beer in the evening having a BBQ’s with the best view of the harbor.
Great facilities everything you could want. Good air conditioning, actually x3 units in the apartment. Not the most modern (clean) apartment, it’s Sali not Dubai. Would stay here again.

Great little hideaway right in the center of Sali. The room was great -- updated and spacious. But the real bonus was the terrace in front. It shares an alley with Konoba Trapula so it's sheltered from the afternoon sun and makes for a great DIY happy hour location. The restaurant is pretty low-key, so we had no issue with any noise at night. The host was super -- she & her husband even picked us up from the Zaglav ferry. Definitely recommend.
The property is a real gem! We loved our stay in the apartment - would recommend to everyone. it’s perfectly located in Sali: 2 minutes from the supermarket and the restaurants. Our hosts were incredibly helpful with recommendations. Everything in the apartment worked and the aircon mean we were nice and cool at night. The terrace with sea view was a lovely place for breakfast + a pre dinner drink.
Beautiful apartment at the great location, Sali center. Bakery, market, coffee shop and restaurants are around the corner. The closest beach is 5min walk. The apartmant was very nice, and the beds were specially comfortable, there is a washing machine in the bathroom which was a nice surprise. We really liked our host, who was very helpful, always available, and even greeted us with some home made cherry liquer. The location is nice, Sali port is 2minutes downhill walk.
The studio was spacious enough for two people to stay comfortably. We also had a little terrace and were right by the pool area which looked over the port of Sali. David, our host, was always available and gave us recommendations for places to visit on the island.
Wonderful apartment and location to spend a holiday. We had such a warm welcome from the owner and throughout our stay. Apartment had all facilities required for self catering and spotlessly clean. Centre of Sali & the beach were a 5 min walk away.
Comfortable apartment opposite the bus stop to the ferries in Zaglav. Elizabeta was there to meet me from the bus. It is only a short walk down some steps into centre of Sali. Lovely outdoor, shaded patio and good facilities in the kitchen.
Our hosts in Sali were wonderful--so kind and generous. We were greeted with homemade food. The apartment was lovely--overlooking the Sali port, super close to the beach, beautiful terrace, full of light.
The apartment is situated in the small bay in Sali. The view from the balcony is amazing, you can see some small islands in opposite and you have also beautiful view to the Velebit mountains in backround.
