Very close to either of the main entrances (1 or 2), or walkable from entrance 3, this house is in a magical setting. The host who has worked in the cruise industry knows how to welcome the guests and make them get the best out of their visit.
The 3 course pre-fix dinner was craftily executed.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park,...
It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

The location is amazing.
The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure.
The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant.
I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...
Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...
This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.
Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.
The accommodation and the services that they offered were really personalized. It felt like we were living in a vacation home with a personal touch and and a five star service. Lucy and Yves were like our parents during the stay 🤣. They taught us the shortcuts and the way to go against the crowd in going to the national park. Food was also prepared well. Worth every penny to spend. Once you've book this hotel, you don't have to worry anything, everything will be arranged accordingly - they were so responsive to our queries as well.
Everything was perfect. Hotel staff are super friendly and attentative, making our stay unforgetably unique.. Wines we tried was lovely and full of taste. Our room was relaxing and quiet. The food, especially the breakfast was really great with lots of options. Its a super cosy and friendly place very close to entrance of the National park.
The place is located in the national park and you can view the lakes also from the viewpoints near to the hotel. The spa zone is wonderful, you can use it private with pre-booked. The food and service in the restaurant is great!
The location of the hotel is excellent. It only takes a 5 minutes walk to enter the National Park (if you have bought tickets upfront, as you cannot buy tickets at entrance 3), without waiting. Rooms were ok.
The Hotel is a house, fantastic opcion! Jasminka and the staff were WONDERFULL!!! We never had been assited on this way!Thank you for all. The Breakfast, also perfect, even in a beautiful terrace!
