Pakostane is a very calm and friendly village. Not crowded at all. There are some nice restaurants offering excellent food.
There are quite a few offerings for excursions around Murter and Kornati and to see some dolphins.

Its a small village with a lot of pebble beaches and pine forests. There're a lot of tourists during summer and everything is crowded, but you can still find a spot on the beach under a pine tree on on some rock. There're a lot of relaxation spots, restaurants and camps.
The village almost completely lacks public transport - there's just one bus stop on the Adriatic highway for intercity buses, and it's far from all the beach locations. If you get there without a car, you should be expected to walk a lot on your feet, and you'd notice that most streets don't have sidewalks.

Pakostane was a lovely town and had everything needed for a great holiday. Prices were very reasonable when eating or drinking out and lot's of choice. Great for renting boats/jet skies or wanting to try out water sports.

We were there during peak August season on a busy weekend. So the beach was very crowded and not great. It's suppose to be about 80% less crowded during off season. However, if you walk 15 minutes or take a bike, scooter, or car, you can get to some less crowded beach areas. Also if you rent a boat there are plenty of islands and coves to explore. I liked the town of Biograde nu moru better which is 15 minutes away, or Sibenik.

Rather small village but still with enough shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors and night life :).
Beaches - small stones, not always well rounded and quite close also big stones inhabited by sea urchins - be careful.
We liked it a lot there.
Boho is comfortably situated, close to restaurants and beaches in Pakostane and surroundings. We had breakfasts included in our reservation and this is a really good option. Products were always fresh and tasty. All people from staff were always smiled, kind and helpful that had a great impact on every single day of our stay there. What is worth to mention- if you have even a small problem- just let them know and they are always ready and able to react quickly and to help you. I can definitely recommend Boho.
Our stay at Pine Beach Pakostane was simply perfect! The staff was excellent, providing top-notch hospitality throughout our vacation. The food was delightful, with a diverse selection that catered to all tastes. The resort's activities and entertainment were fantastic, keeping us engaged and entertained every day. We're already planning our return trip! Thank you, Pine Beach Pakostane, for an amazing experience!
+ Location is awesome close to the beach, store, bakery, restaurants, pharmacy, center of Pakoštane
+ Apartment has a big balcony looking over the sea
+Parking spot is in a shade
+ The beds are really good quality, slept like an angel
+ The owner is really joyful and kind hearted person. She gave us the best watermelon as a welcome and as a goodbye gift. It was incredibly tasty!
We really liked our stay in Pakostane. The property is located in a relatively quiet alley; and it's about 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach.
There's plenty of storage space in the apartment. We really liked balconies with seating for our meals. AC is included. Wifi is good (even for youtube videos). The car can be parked directly by the property.
The owner speaks english.
The apartment was well equipped with appliances and there was nothing I could think of that wasn't available for use. Aside from that, the caringly decorated interior distanced me from that typical apartment experience and made me feel at home from the get-go. Quiet nights in were as desirable as exploring Pakoštane and its plentiful surroundings.
We were welcomed by the hosts upon arrival. They guided us through the comfortable appartement and left a map with usefull information. They showed us the shortest way to the center of Pakostane, which was within walking distance from the location (600 m to the beach & 800 m to the center).
Great hosts and great apartment, enough for a family with 3 kids or two couples. It has got everything, washing machine, dishwasher, aircon, full kitchen, etc. Bit far from the sea, but in Pakostane that only means 10 minutes walking, and the neighborhood is quiet.
I highly recommend to stay here. We started for 12 nights and we didn't want to leave. Excellent location, approx. 5-10 mins to town center/beaches/supermarkets. It was really clean and nice place. Marina, the owner, is the nicest person we have ever met.
The host was very nice, always helpuf. Villa is about 400m from Pine beach (daily visitor's) entrance.
Apartment was big enough, with small kitchen, basically everything you'd expect in this price range.
Parking available in the property (around 4 spots)
The best apartment in Pakostane.
Very big, clean, comfortable, near to the beach but also to the city center. Small surprise for our children included ;-) And most probably the best restaurant just around the corner. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Comfortable beach house with exceptional location direct on the Janice Beach. Incredible view to the sea. Very good equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven. Best place in Pakostane for young active family..
Super nice owners.
Very nice bungalows, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, great covered porch.
Beautiful sea view from the onsite restaurant.
Close to the center of Pakostane and to the beach.
Large parking.
Very beautiful, we stayed in the 5star part. Breakfast was super, with lots of choice and fresh fruit! We had dinner twice at the hotel, we enjoyed it very much, Tommy (the chef) is a true star
Hotel located in old building, but rooms are modern. . We had to leave early and the restaurant made a really nice breakfast box to take with us! The restaurant is very good.
The hotel itself and rooms are amazing. This is a proper heritage hotel. They have jacuzzi and sauna that can be booked only in advance as a private session which is great.
It was a beautiful and historic hotel. We loved everything about it. The food from the restaurant was very tasty, and the included breakfast was great.
