A big house which was very clean and comfortable with a lovely fire oven heating the whole house. It was in the heart of Krasno, not far from the Bear sanctuary and Large lookout at the top of the Velebit.

This was a very nice apartment in a small vilage. Mostly quiet, during rhe day there were a few log trucks, that passed the apartment. The flat was very clean and beautiful, the beds were comfy, the kichen was fully equipt. The host was super nice. We were traveling by motorcycle and we parked our 3 motorcycles infront of the flat, so they were safe. There is also space for a car. It is a cheap place to stay near the Jadran magistral. :)

Everything was wonderful, but especially the hosts Dragana, Ilija, and their family. We were so warmly welcomed, and they were kind, generous, and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated with everything we needed to be comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Additionally there is a mini-market at street level, which has a lot of necessities, and we found this very useful. This was truly the nicest place we have stayed in Croatia, after nearly five years of travelling within the country. Thank you Dragana and family!

A charming mountain town and a great jump off point for northern Velebit exploration. Local cheeses are delicious, people are super friendly and tranquility of the surroundings led us to an instant zen time. We had a true two day family hygge, that would be one way to describe it.

We have got great advice about the spots worth visit having a 6-year old and 11-year old boys - all the crew in National Park information spots was very helpful.
Great food by the Church on the hill.
Local products (cheese, butter, jams) were excellent, we bought some for home.
We will be back to visit in the winter too!

Beautiful, really breathtaking valley and mountain views. Great hike. But this is a sleepy place so if you want to "disconnect" for a bit, a good place. If you want to party or eat out, not so much.
