Besides being a little bit "farer" of what usually people seek for accommodation, this was by far, the best accommodation of Istria out of the 4 that I've booked. The house itself seems that was built yesterday, everything was new and beautifully decorated. It is spacious and for 4 people (like my group) is really spacious. It was the best night of sleep I had in months since Istria is very crowded (I myself live in a busy area of Berlin), but their place is located just outside of Galizana - super quiet, super calm. Their beds and mattresses were also the of the best quality, a lot better than mine :p

The arrival was unproblematic and friendly, and the house is run by a family, that lives in a house attached to the one you'll stay.

One of the best Booking.com experience. Hosts were super helpful and nice. They even got us fresh orada fish for us to put them on grill. We also really enjoyed little garden in front of the house with nice ambient for evening gathering and grilling. House inside is simple in rustical style and yet there is everything what you could wish for. Attic is very stylish and a bit vintage and good place to have a nice conversation with your friends. Recommended!

If you are looking for a quiet location to reload your batteries, than Galizana is a good spot. It is in few km distance to the sea, sea promenade area, city of Pula, and a 30 minutes ride to Rovinj. Being situated at 5 km distance to the sea it makes it a little cheaper than other locations.

Galižana is a small vilage with narrow but amazing streets.
Galižana is a small vilage with narrow but amazing streets. Our holiday house was out of the vilage center, easy to reach. Close to us were few other holiday houses and few local family houses. Location was quiet and peaceful, neighbours kind and friendly, nobody disturbed us in all the week. From Galižana was easy to reach by car beautiful and clean Fažana beach, which was specialy in the morning and late afternoon not overcrowded. We enjoyed there the trip by semisubmarine, fishes were not many but the look under sea water was still interesting.
