It is a great place for children, the water park was amazing. It suits all ages. And there are many activities for children at the resort.

Most of all we loved the location of the hotel - it is by the sea. The hotel has its own private beach that has perfect depth for swimming and still safe enough. We were having every breakfast with the view to the sea and some dinners at hotel's taverna.
From the very first moment when you enter the hotel you feel that it is a family business and all the staff cares about it. Usually there is an owner Soula at the reception and she helps and gives plenty advices about everything, including travelling around Crete. She speaks English and German fluently. Also the girl and the men working at the hotel's taverna are nice, too.
We read some negative comments about the breakfast, but for us it was better that we expected were prepared to. The food was fresh, there were boiled eggs, 2 types of ham, cheese, plenty of feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, some good pastry and ect. Not a huge choice, but the food was good and absolutely sufficient for the breakfast.
We also enjoyed dining in the hotel's taverna.

Food was very good, fresh and different everyday, the range of cocktails in all inclusive offer was fantastic, room and hotel was very clean, but the most important what I have to mention is Staff. People working there are extremely helpful and polite, very welcoming and their hospitality...I have never met this before in any other place, 10/10. We had such a great week in Rethymno Palace especially on the beach bar with fantastic guys working there. Thank you so much for all your heart and kindness you showed us, to make our stay such a lovely adventure! ❤

The property was beautifully presented. The outdoor kitchen / bbq area with added jacuzzi / wine bar was just awesome. The staff were extremely helpful. we had a small problem with the air conditioning which was fixed immediately. The pool temperature and size was perfect. A car is needed to explore the local area and Tavernas. Spilies and Geropotamos Beach are amazing with great Tavernas. Ilios Taverna is about a mile away on Skaleta beach with great food. It was an amazing family holiday that we will not forget. Thank you.
I had a very nice stay at Scaleta Beach Hotel. The hotel is an interesting, great option for its category.
After you pass the hotel lobby, you enter the interior courtyard space from where you can access your room. The courtyard is green and cozy, with galleries and views that open to the sea and nature around.
In the rooms you will find everything you need, the interiors are modest but designed with good taste.
Delicious food with variety of choices where I could also find vegetarian options :)
The hotel is located directly on the beach and it also offers 2 swimming pools, very nice place to spend a relaxing holiday. The price per value ratio was very good, both the breakfast and the buffet dinner were fantastic! At one of the evenings the staff organized a dinner at the pool with live music. It was incredibly beautiful! Room, facilities and the staff are also nice and helpful.
This was our very first stay in Skaleta, and we could not have been happier about our choice, Asea Villa was even more beautiful than we could have imagined! The villa is in excellent condition & our hosts were just wonderful making us feel right at home! We have travelled a lot around Greece, but this impeccable location right in front of the beach is one of a kind!

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff and plenty of pool-side chairs. The food buffet was extremely well organised and had a good variety of food options. With half board, there are no soft drinks or even water included at dinner. The bottled water, fruit and Raky were a nice touch in the room. The creta star facilities are also available to creta royal guests.
The hotel is situated in a small town, it gives you the opportunity to fully relax and has excellent access to the beach. Or you can relax at the local swimming pool. My friends and I went to this wonderful hotel for the first time and we were all amazed and impressed not only with the view but especially the good service we received from the staff. Special mention to receptionist and room service who were always so attentive to our requests and went above and beyond to serve us.
I stayed in the room with a balcony. The room was beautiful with spacious restroom. Pool was amazing and pool chairs are provided. Hotel restaurant drinks are good. I would say you get your money’s worth here, with plenty to do on-site, and lots of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance.
This is the most magnificent hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful, the location is excellent, and the views are incredible. We were impressed with how great the service was. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and plan to stay here should I come back to Rethymno town.
