We didn't like Skaleta because there weren't any interesting attractions or promenade for tourists. Beaches haven't got high quality, too. But it is very quiet if you want to rest and sleep in peace. You are able to find cheaper accommodations in Skaleta and travel by rented car wherever you want.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything from the service to food was amazing. Especially friendly and helpful stuff. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel, it's easy to get anywhere. The hotel's beach was great, although we didn't really have a luck and first two days it was impossible to swim in the sea - it was very windy. Recommend using this time to rent a car and explore the island and less windy beaches :) Definitely recommend this place, we will surely come back!
Beautiful hotel with lovely staff and plenty of pool-side chairs. The food buffet was extremely well organised and had a good variety of food options. With half board, there are no soft drinks or even water included at dinner. The bottled water, fruit and Raky were a nice touch in the room. The creta star facilities are also available to creta royal guests.
The all-inclusive option here is very good. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts in Greece, this one so far the best. Even so the hotel is 4 stars, the quality is high.
The food selection, bars, the animation team, the stuff in general - everything was really good.
Lovely staff, Manolis was so kind and helpful. It’s a really nice relaxed hotel and is close to Rethymno. Great balcony and everything I needed was there. Regularly cleaned. I was provided with help with everything, even airport transfers. I felt like I was home!
Good location, the whole place is very photogenic. It is very good that you can use hotel beach with hotel beach bar (Maria that works there is the best!). Ladies at reception are also very nice.
