This place is perfect! Very central, right on the sea promenade, next to all restaurants, cafes and bars. Vaggelis is a great host, extremely helpful and friendly. I would gladly return to stay at the Seaside apartment. Thank you ever so much!

We spent four wonderful days in this apartment in Salamina and we couldn't be more satisfied. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants/ taverns. Anna & Andreas were very hospitable and helpful. The house was lovely. Well equipped, it had everything we needed. We were staying in Salamina visiting family and the property was a perfect location for us, with parking and close to a beach. The property also had air conditioning which was great when it reached 39°c outside! The owners are lovely, and are only a phone call or message away if you need them.

A Greek Island almost entirely for Greeks. Most people seem to speak some English, specially in any hospitality places. Not touristy, not glitzy or fashionable - all positive attributes. Island large enough to explore over a week or more. Easy and cheap access from mainland by 2 ferry ports.

Its an island next to Athens with some good beaches , good food, and not many tourists. Its a good choice to spend some days relaxing away from the noice of a big city or a very touristic island At the same time its realyl easy to visit Athens if you want to check museums, the Parthenon or any other place there

This is not an island for tourists looking for anything glamorous or totally catered-for. It's a quiet & subdued island frequented by Greeks who have a family property/connection to the place but probably live on the main land most of the year. You need to be well-prepared & don't expect to have a night club, taxi service or cocktail bar nearby!
Nevertheless - it's perfect for some peace & quiet without having to travel too far or have to deal with ferries from Pireaus in high-season.
The 10 minute crossing from Nea Peramos is great - usually every 30 mins about 6e for 3 persons + car.
