The place is beautifully designed with good taste. We enjoyed the swimming pool very much and the location between the Harbour and the Beach. Breakfast was very good and The staff were nice and friendly and we even got an upgrade to a beautiful family room. Our stay was fantastic and we hope to return again someday.

Great budget hotel at the edge of town. Very clean hotel and rooms, good sized pool with a bar that serves food at very fair prices, plenty of parking (though only some spots had shade), reasonable continental breakfast, and very friendly and helpful staff. Tip - ask for an upper level room with a view if you can.
The harbour is a 5-10 min walk from the hotel, and the main beach of Agia Galini is about a 15-20 walk from the harbour. The hotel made a great base for exploring the south side of the island.
Hotel Areti is situated in Agia Galini of Rethymno, only 150 metres from the beach. It features a large outdoor pool with a spacious terrace furnished with sun beds and umbrellas.

Lovely small hotel situated about 10min drive but only 15min walk from Agia Galini (the road winds around, but there's a pleasant seaside walkway that takes you directly there).
Well run small family business with a personal touch. Nice rooms with comfortable beds etc. Simple but satisfying breakfast. The small swimming pool, playground and tennis court give it a good vibe for families.
