The property is definitely the prettiest house in Mochlos along with Alex the best host you could wish to meet. The room had every thing we needed for a comfortable stay, very clean & organised to make the best use of the space. Great location, plenty of nice places to eat. Last but not least - a big thank you to Alex for looking after us so well & driving us to the main road so we could catch the bus to our next stay. Mochlos & Chez Cecile are some thing special! Highly recommend.

Great little place, we had a wonderful night away. The location is ideal near all the bars and restaurants. The place has a restaurant downstairs and a nice terrace overlooking the sea.
The owner was very nice and we would definitely stay there again.

Julie was a perfect host. She was exceptionally kind and friendly, offered many useful tips and even a present upon departure! The room was spacious, perfectly equipped including in the kitchen (breakfast made twice at home). It was also fresh at night, which is not the rule in August.

The room we stayed in had everything as expected. Our room had nice views and the hosts were very helpful. It’s a 15min walk to the village where you can find a couple of cafes/restaurants. Tholos Beach was one of the nicest beaches of our stay, so the location is superb, especially if you prefer peace and quiet away from the touristy spots.
We really feel like we got an authentic Cretan experience staying here.

We were offered delicious local Cretan treats on the day of arrival. The property is beautifully renovated, one of the nicest buildings in Kavousi. The owners have paid much attention to even the slightest detail. Kafenes is in a central, yet quiet location.

Very cosy and convenient with shops and tavernas serving delicious fresh local food.
It is bit remote, but it's a good thing in our eyes. Views to die for everywhere. Lots of ancient history on every corner.
Mochlos is a good place to make your base camp. You can rent a car and travel around exploring nearby beautiful scenery, beaches, tavernas and history of Crete.
We miss it already.

Mochlos is a charming port with the ancient island of Mochlos very near. If you go to George's taverna he will take you there on his little boat for a small fee. Well worth the trip. There are a few restaurants, bars and boutique shops around a very small location.

It has not been destroyed by the tourism industry yet, I wonder how long. Nice little town right by the sea. There are rather small rocky beaches in Mochlos. Clean and warm water. Beaches without sunbeds or umbrellas but showers mostly. Excellent restaurants with local food and seafood by the beaches. The drink bars are also nice.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Excellent scenery, super hospitality and delicious varied food from a great choice of tavernas. Cafes and cocktail bars to while away an hour or two day or night. Perfect in every way. I would recommend that anyone young or old visits this delightful haven.

Mochlos is a beautiful village, it has one woodcraft shop, the guy makes amazing things from wood! One boutique with very unique clothes, and few taverns with the best food. Cooking like mama and fresh fish... yummy! It is perfect for relaxation and family vacations, and just great for romance. If you want a live place with lots of clubs etc., don’t choose this one. Just two bars with delicious cocktails.
We loved everything about Acantha! It feels brand new, is sparkling clean, and is also designed with comfort and luxury in mind. It has everything you need for a long relaxing stay, everything works perfectly, and it has full panoramic scenic views of Mochlos and enough space for everyone to have their own privacy. It’s a very short walk into town! Giorgos was an incredible host. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and was always available if we needed anything. We will 100% be coming back!!
Everything was perfect. The villa is absolutely stunning and the view even more so! We’ve never seen such a beautifully landscaped garden and aesthetically designed villa. The little village of Mochlos is only a 5 minute walk away and has a few very cute taverns and a little market with all necessities. We had the best time at Villa Nuez and our 2-year-old daughter loved it as well! We will definitely be back.
Great location close to the centre of Mochlos which is a wonderful village for getting away from it all. The apartment was very clean and the rooftop pool was a nice addition. The terrace is also well shaded at all times of the day so you have somewhere to escape the sun if needed. Very nice host who was present but not at all intrusive. Good air conditioning which was needed with 38 degrees!
Lovely location right in Mochlos. We loved having the balcony to sit and play cards on in the evening. Views across the sea we beautiful.
Apartment was nice and clean. Well equipped with everything we need for a couple of nights. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in the area.

Mosquitonet was a nice touch as it means you don't need to run the aircon so much to keep the insects at bay. Some nice touches in the common area that even 5 star hotels don't have like coffee, mosquito plugs, spare this and that...

Mochlos as a setting is unbelievable. The hotel is simple, but its proximity to the waterfront restaurants is great. The little garden for breakfast was also simple, but charming. The proprietors was wonderful. We would return in a heartbeat.
The apartment is very new and all the rooms are lovely, but the living room is wonderful. Spacious and comfortable with a spectacular view. Parking is a not easy in Mochlos so it was great to have our own parking space.
