A very good hotel, a beautiful well-maintained garden with a swimming pool and sports and children's areas. Very tasty prepared and sufficient amount of food. The garden is great. The view is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean. There is a little kids nug full with books on the attic floor which was nice. Lovely village with sufficient dining opportunities. The beach is not exceptional, but good for having a bath. There are numerous beaches around the village in a radius of 10 km, so Metamorfosi is a strategical base for touring the upper peninsula.
For eating out I recommend the fish taverna over the harbour and the Pizzeria on the high street.

Small place but has almost everything you need from restaurants to shops and markets. The place is very peaceful and the people there are nice. The only drawback is that the beaches are not very good, but there are beautiful beaches in the surrounding area

I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and...
I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and get you relaxed but also busy enough to have things to do and explore. We stayed in Village Mare Hotel (fantastic resort!) with a very short walk to a great beach. Favourite places? The sea (I recommend taking a snorkel, the underwater life was beautiful!), Nikiti - old town (great views of the nearby hills & sea, Barcarolla bar with fantastic cocktails, great feel), and the Sunny Bay Beach bar for a craft bear and kids playground. Also the Blue Flag beach in the evening, just stars and the waves.
We went for all-inclusive so ate at Village Mare only - fantastic food selection, even for fussy little eaters.
We travelled around by taxis, I recommend booking them 24h+ in advance if you can.

Quiet small place, especially suitable for families. Taverna Vassilis is the place to eat with good food and very good service. Nektar juice bar is a nice place to have a couple of drinks just seating outside and watching the inhabitants and tourists alike having their evening stroll.

Metamorfosi is a small village but has a character. Beaches are nothing special. Golden beach is clean, and small, with a shower and a beach bar. You have a natural shadow. The air is very pleasant because of the pines. I recommend Metamorfosi for families with small children because you have a nice park and playground for the kids. You have a couple of restaurants and coffee shops. A good starting point for visiting surrounding beautiful beaches.

We've been to the Halkidiki area many times staying on both peninsulas in many different areas but interestingly we've pretty much always been pulled toward the middle and ends of them and now we've been to Metamorfosi I'm not sure why.
This is a lovely little town that seems to have everything you need for a lovely stay. Nice places to eat and a good selection of different accommodation.
The house and the garden are lovely. There is enough space to chill out and enjoy the evenings (on the large balconies or in the garden). The location is also good, is not crowded at all, and it is only about 2km away by car from the village. The beach is great, we also tried Blue Dolphin Beach and it is definitely worth it. Vasilis and his wife were so nice and made sure we had a great time. They were always available and even prepared small gifts for us, which was really sweet. We can definitely recommend it and would love to come back.
It's a family hotel, so a lot of kids were there to play in very clean swimming pool, with kids section. Hotel is on a good location, with two entrances. One is leading to a parking with many spots. Good cleaning service. Clean room and nice bathroom. We got the crib for the baby. Baby feeding chair was also available. Backyard is small and not under the Sun, but it is very nice, clean and with decorative lights and several 🐢💚 🐢.

We had such a nice and comfortable stay at 4-You Boutique. Our first leg of the trip was rough and stressful so checking into our room here was so wonderful and relaxing. The room is clean and furniture is of high quality. They arranged a crib for our baby and he slept better than ever (as did we). Breakfast was lovely and staff was lovely. You're able to make use of the pool at their other hotel (50 meters away).
Best holiday of my life! Place is great, breakfast is tasty and delicious. Room was cleaned daily, it was spacious and well equipped. We reserved smaller apartment, but when we arrived, they upgraded us for free because we were with our kid.
I must say that two girls working at the reception are maybe the best thing about whole hotel. They were so kind and helpful all the time of our stay. Big thanks to them!

The location is excellent, the hotel is located on the beach. The food is good and varied. For the children, there is a wonderful landscaped garden with swings, a slide, and a tennis table. There are shops and places for games near the hotel. The only drawback is the weak internet. We had a great time. Thanks also to the kind staff.
Good choice for the price, we were in junior suite and it’s spacious and comfortable. Tv is really big and wifi is surprisingly good! Rooms and hotel space inside/outside are very clean. Best impression on us left the staff - kind, friendly, always around when you need them (at the restaurant), always smiling and ready to help.
