definitely this hotel is not worth the money i paid. breakfast awful, spa only promises in fact doesn't work, gym only one bicycle. all furnitures is 50 years of old. i don't recommend.

When you choose this hotel, expect just an OK three star place to stay. It has adequate facilities: correctly equipped room (we got nice pool and sea view), clean bathroom, fridge with free water. Hotel has nice pool for swimming. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they keep the place very clean. Hotel is also nicely located, sandy beach is just across small street and many restaurants, bars and shops are nearby. Additionally, off season it was quiet and nice, which is also a bonus.

Marathon like a lot a of mainland Greece has had its problems. Marathonas has everything a traveller would need if you know where to look for them. You really need a car. Tavernas are plentiful most of them do a very good selection of food be it fish, meat or vegetarian. Lovely scenery and short drive to several beaches. Schinias beach is now closed to cars but you can park at the Rusty Cannon. Sisi beach a drive to get too but a quiet location. A wealth of historical sites nearby.
