Jota and her husband have created this place from scratch 30 years ago into a little paradise with love and attention for every detail, and it shows. The apartments and lush gardens around it are well taken care of and immaculate . Being located at the edge of the village and on an elevation my apartment had both great sea view and mountain view. the hosts are very welcoming and make you feel at home.

the little town we were with a harbor staying at cleopatra studios is very greek with 6-8 restaurants, a pebble beach, a supermarket - very nice area. Be aware that if you want to go to the next city, lying just west from here there is mountain way - so you need a car to get around. The city next to where we stayed is very tourist with restaurants and bars along the beach road.
can recommend you to go up north to a mountain city - ask the people, I have forgotten the name of the city. There are several artists and 2 restaurants up there. Very nice.

The wonderful manager showed us around the hotel one night and the kitchen - were great food was cooked every evening by him! His wonderful wife upgrade us to a room - with jacuzzi our last night. It was Amazing! So thankful for the days we spend here.

Ormos is a very pretty working village, very laid back.
Ormos is a very pretty working village, very laid back. It is a great location for the South Coast, car hire essential. The best beach is at Limnionas, free quality sunbeds at The Nereides providing you spend 5 Euro on drinks.
We can recommend the Vangellis & Despina fishing trip ( 45 Euro per head) which includes BBQ of fresh fish + salads /Wine & fruit, great fun but it needs booking as they only take a max of 12 guests per day, Their Tel no is on a post next to the boat at the end of the Harbour.

One of the best places I have ever visited.
One of the best places I have ever visited. All the places at Marathokampos (shoping, eating, drinking, car rental places etc.) were wonderful. The taste of the foods were unforgetable (not only seafood but also meat). The best rate is for hospitality of people living at Marathokampos.
If anyone thinking about visit to Marathokampos, no need to think or wonder even one second, just go.

Beautiful long beach, many restaurants and cool places. A little difficult to arrive without renting a car, but so is everything in Samos. Strongly recommend to check with locals when are the festivities, you might miss some amazing traditional spectacles!
Very great value for the class of property. Ellis studios was spotlessly clean, excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds, nice thick towels, clean every day. And the most wonderful host Joanna. She made us feel like family - not visitors, it’s more of a B&B than a hotel, super cute and intimate. Location is just across the street from the beach, walking distance to stores, restaurants etc. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again when in Votsalakia.
This place was amazing. The location is perfect. Magical views -You can see beach from the cliff, it takes just few steps to walk down there and on the other side there are a huge mountains. The house looks even better than on the pictures. There is good air conditioning.
Breakfast was very good- a lot of different food and most important tasty sweet fruits from their own garden. Too bad that it was only avaible for 2 days during our Samos vacation.
We had a perfect stay: Gaia apartments are very well equipped, sparkling clean, very quiet and at 5 mn walk from both the pedestrian area where one can find the taverns, supermarket and bakery, and the beach.
Ormos is a very good location to visit the western side of Samos.
And last but not least, the owners are extremely kind and caring, always helpful, and even offering fruit from their garden.
I would highly recommend this property!
The room was very good value for money, especially if booked for 2 guests. All is quite new in the room. The bathroom is spacious and relatively modern, also very clean. If one wants to stay in Marathokampos, this is an excellent location. 3-4' from local bakery, cafés, restaurants and bars. 1' from the beach. The balcony doesn't have any particular view but that's not an issue. The host is very polite. Overall, highly recommended.
We spent 4 days in Blue Horizon Hotel. The owner of the hotel, Artemis is a perfect and kind man. He is very hospitable and generous. If you need anything, he provides. The view of the rooms are marvelous. All the stuff in the room were clean. We are very satisfied from our visit. Thanks to Artemis and Blue Horizon staff for this great Samos holiday. We definitely think to come back to Blue Horizon.
Joanna is a perfect host. She helped us about everything. All the utilities were provided. The house was perfectly clean. It is very close to beach and restaurants. There are small shops around. There is a lot that you can park your motorcycle if you have. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Samos.
We stayed a couple of nights in August. Rooms were spacious and clean, lovely gardens around the hotel. Kids really enjoyed the pool and nice sandy beach just opposite. Plenty of good restaurants only a few minutes walk away. But the best thing was the kind and hospitable owners. Thank you Mr Manolis
Pool area was nice and had around 12 beds. We tried the restaurant for lunch and dinner, food was good and good price. Room facilities were good, small balcony and the kitchen had the basics for cooking breakfast and meals. Hotel is 10-15 min walk from beaches, restaurants and grocery store.
The quiet village of Ormos has a unique, chill mediterranean vibe. The hotel is located straight on the beach of this lovely fisherman’s bay and it offers the most amazing greek food, beer and local wine. The staff is amazingly nice and always there to offer service. Would recommend!
Spacious 2- bedroom apartment, fully equipped, located on the picturesque bay of Marathokampos, at very close distance from taverns and a small supermarket. The apartment was in very good condition, very clean and the pool was perfect. Also the host was very friendly and helpful.
Everything was good. We enjoyed our days at the Pavlis studios. Our room was big enough with two kids. The kids had a good time at the pool.
It was a good choice for Samos. The location is convenient if you rent a car.
One of the best beaches in Samos is literally across the street. The staff were unfailingly polite, smiling and helpful. The room had a little kitchenette hidden inside a closet.
It was clean, near the property there were restaurants, cafes, beaches and market. The lady in the hotel was very very helpfull, it was an excellent stay.
