Skyros Town is by far the most sttractive and the best place to stay on the island, but Linaria is a good alternative particularly if you are travelling by ferry from Kymi on Evia and have a late arrival or eralt departure. Linaria has a reasonable choice of tavernas, bars and shops and there some interesting walks in the locality.
