Not too small - lots of things to see and do. Not too large - had a great island feel everywhere! Not crowded - one of the lesser known islands, yet…it has everything to satisfy every taste - beautiful secluded and organized beaches, excellent network of bicycle paths, great nightlife, thermal springs, archaeological sites, mountain villages and fantastic views! Lots of surrounding islands for day cruises or island hopping. The local residents are very hospitable and proud of their island. I would never hesitate to revisit Kos.

The town was lovely. Friendly people.
The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see.
Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.
I made two reservations first 3 nights and for 2 more nights as the hotel was fully booked. Now i can understand why the property was full.It was such a great stay with friendly staff, good breakfast and the best location. Very clean rooms, nice and friendly hotel.I felt like home, was not like staying at a hotel.Thank you so much for the owner and the staff he trained.Well organized! I was to sad today to leave will definately come back! Thank you all for making my holiday great!
It was so central for Kos town and walking to the marina took 10 minutes. The cleaners were great and nothing was too much trouble. They brought us an iron when we needed one and I saw them bringing more hangers for other guests when asked. The also arranged taxis for us when we needed. There is a little shop very close by for water and if you have a later flight you can stay by the pool and store your luggage and use the downstairs shower area which was ideal.
Great staff, great facility, near the beach. Not so near the city center, but we rented some bicikles near the hotel and cicled to the centre. It was quiet, so you could enjoy morning breakfast or dinner in the evening. Aroud the facility the chickens are walking freely, so we had a feeling like we were at home. You can have a drink at the snack bar, swim in the pool area or play the billard. Even if you don't go anywhere, you can still find some things to do.
I genuinely couldn't be happier with our stay.
We'd only come to Kos town to sample the tasting menu at a different hotel and booked the Cosmopolitan as a cheap place to stay for a single night. In total it came to €41 which included dinner and breakfast. As we were already dining out in the evening we didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast was fantastic - better than the "All-inclusive 5 star" hotel we were staying at for the rest of the holiday.
The location is fantastic, a 5-minute walk to the beach and the sea, near the best beach bar Mylos. The hotel is great, the room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. You made our anniversary so special and unforgettable from the moment we walked in at the reception, to the warm greeting in the restaurant, and finally to our room where our towels were folded differently daily (swans, hearts...). Thank you Apollon Hotel!
It was close to all that Kos Town has to offer. For us it was an excellent location as we were only staying for one night while island hopping, and it’s an easy twenty minute walk to the port. If you wanted to visit Bodrum you couldn’t get any nearer to the departure point.
The room was spacious, very well equipped and spotless, with an excellent shower.
Paris, the owner, is such a likeable person with excellent communication skills.
For the price it was really great experience to stay here. Staff was really nice and kind, there was daily cleaning and the bathroom look very nice too. Balcony where you can sit and enjoy the holiday atmosphere of one of the busy street with restaurants and market nearby and with the view of the sea is perfect location for young people like us. If we ever will return to Kos town we would like to stay here as well.
the location. I was going to Kos town by walk. its street is full of cafes, rental cars and bicycles offices, groceries, beach clubs, and shops. The decoration is simple and comfortable. the room is newly decorated and specious. the landscape and the long trees give an amazing atmosphere. the breakfast is pretty good. the staff is friendly. They upgraded my room!
The hotel is located in the best spot of the Kos town. Outstanding breakfast with a great sea view touch your eyes and soul everyday in the morning.
The stuff were very supportive and approachable.
The room is well equipped with a minibar and a good air conditioning.
Pack your luggage and enjoy your vacation in Kos Aktis Art Hotel.
Excellent apartments and very well situated. The setting is almost like being out in the countryside, despite being an 8 minutes walk to Kos Town centre. Manos, the owner, is great, nothing is too much for him. The apartments are set in beautiful grounds, which are lovely to just sit and relax in.
The apartment is in the heart of Kos Town. Easy accessible everywhere. Really nicely decorated and everything in the apartment is new.
Kallia is always ready to help. Easy checking in is great. We really enjoyed our stay here. If I come again, I will stay here again.
The location of the hotel was great, it was only 5-minute walk to Kos town. The rooms were big and clean, the balcony was perfect. The internet connection was brilliant. The staff was friendly and helpful so that we did not experience any troublesome issues.
The hotel is located in close proximity to the harbour & the centre of Kos town, our room was basic but suited our needs for the one night. The hotel staff were very helpful with all our queries, we didn't have the breakfast so can't comment.
They weren’t open yet for the season so moved us to their sister hotel up the hill. The view from the room (at Kipriotis Panorama Hotel NOT Maris Suites) is appealing. The all-inclusive lunch and dinner buffets were very good quality.
Thus us our favorite hotel in Kos. Thus us due to the great location to the Kos town and the port, delicious breakfast buffet and the friendly staff. Thanks to Kathy, Maria and Iliana, every time we stay @Triton, we feel at home.
Very friendly and professional staff in every department from the receptionists to the waiting staff, entertainment/kids club and room housekeepers.
Great location close to the centre of Kos Town
Lovely swimming pool
The apartments are new & really nice - super comfy bed & pillows, I moved from a 4* all inclusive hotel to these apartments & preferred it! The apartments, beds & towels are cleaned everyday - love this place.
