We had the privilege of staying in the beautiful apartment of MyPlace. Upon arrival, we were warmly and graciously welcomed by the owner, and that same hospitality and attentiveness remained present throughout our stay. Fresh linens, towels, and other amenities were regularly provided, and additional blankets were made available upon request.
The apartment is equipped with a superb swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable sunbeds, which we could use free of charge. Additionally, the location offered convenient access to the nearby beach via a private pathway, which was a significant advantage. Both the location and the beach were truly exceptional—the beach was stunning, and the water was always pleasant.
The on-site restaurant was also of high quality. We sampled a variety of dishes and cocktails, all of which were consistently well-prepared and delicious.
The owners were always accessible and provided us with friendly and helpful service at all times. We are extremely satisfied with this accommodation and would highly recommend it to others.

Kefalos is very run down. Lots of derelict buildings.
Kefalos is very run down. Lots of derelict buildings. Almost empty in October even though it was still good weather. Most restaurants closed - the few that were open were good enough - stick with the fish - octopus quite tough and chicken kebabs awful

A short drive from the airport Kefalos offers a lot.
A short drive from the airport Kefalos offers a lot. There are many lovely beaches, boat trips and other activities. We ate very well. If you like to cook it’s a bit tricky to find local meat and fish. We did find the butcher in the town who was incredibly helpful although we never did get the goat we wanted. Finding fish proved impossible- even going to the harbour at 7am on one occasion. The local winery does a very good tasting.

Kefalos is a wonderful destination for a quiet, relaxing and sun-filled holiday. There is a great selection of restaurants, all serving delicious and very reasonably priced food. The beaches are lovely, although not all sandy.
I stayed at Bill & Mike apartments and would highly recommend it. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but not too far from the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. Bill, and his wife Eva were perfect hosts. They are both so very kind and welcoming. They made me feel like family.
The apartment was very clean and well maintained. No pool or restaurant but both were available at Bill's brother's complex, just a minute's walk away.
I would happily return to Bill and Mike and recommend it to family & friends.

I loved being away from the popular resorts at the other end, people were very friendly, I did 4 day trips, it's an amazing island with great ambassadors. Some of the popular triples were a little too busy, i.e. sunset in Zia, but the shopping was out of this world, found a lovely pottery jewellery shop that was all local made, loved the restaurants on the beaches

Kefalos is the most beautiful place on island.
Kefalos is the most beautiful place on island. It has beautiful nature, hills, there are options for off road experiences. It has the most beautiful and sandy beaches which are not too crowded. The water is christal clear and some beaches like Agios Theologos have beautiful sunset.
We liked Kefalos because it is very authentic and you can enjoy in greek culture and cuisine.

What a fantastic stay! This hotel is incredibly peaceful, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. The beach is just a few minutes away, so it’s really convenient. Everything you need, from restaurants to shops, is within a short walk. We loved exploring the local Greek cuisine at the nearby restaurants. The whole area is so calm and relaxing—perfect for a restful getaway.
Absolutely perfect for our short stay in Kefalos. The studio was immaculate and so peaceful after the busy Kos Town. Breakfast was delicious, home-made and a massive choice. The owner takes huge pride in delivering a quality stay. 3 minutes away from the bus stop and the same to the beach. Perfect.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful family run hotel. The owner is friendly and helpful, breakfast is great and the location is perfect. Everything you need is a 5 minute walk away. Looking forward to staying here again on our next holiday!
Lovely small hotel - friendly staff - great location - never an issue getting a sun bed.
Breakfast was fine - not a massive selection but plenty available to suit most people.
Would definitely return and recommend.
