Excellent property, The owners are very nice and welcoming. The location is good, they have a perking lot and nearby there is also a rental car company. Restaurants and beach are just 2 min walk from the property. The WIFI is OK and the location is great. The owners were very responsive they did their best to help and were very flexible. I highly recommend the property, hope to come again.

Great place to stay with family for your calm vacation. To mention the main benefits of the place:
1. Clean apartment stuffed with all things needed for your stay (everything available if you want to cook). You can feel yourself as at your own residence house not far from the sea :)
2. Very friendly and kind stuff. We were welcoming by amazing person Chrisa who shared with us lots of useful tips (where to eat/where better to go/where to shop etc) She was very responsive and helpful in case of questions from our side during the whole stay.
3. Great green territory with very clean swimming pool with lots of available places and nice view to the sea (acceded expectations)
4. Very good sand beach and not crowded at all (we were coming at 9am and almost all of sun beads were still available). You can take sun-beads with umbrella with deposit for 10 Euro for which you can order anything you want from the bar.
5. Not far from the beach. It was 5 minutes to get to the beach by foot, but to get back around 10min, because you have to go uphill (we took it as benefit to have exercise not to get fat after vacation :))
6. The biggest supermarket of Kalyves on the way to the beach which is super convenient as you don’t have to go somewhere separately to find good products (btw avocado and peach was really delicious from there).

Very beautiful and comfortable place. The reality is more beautiful than the pictures. Very generous and sweet hostess: greeted with gifts, patiently answered all questions, did not charge for a broken table. The kitchen was fully equipped. Washing machine. Hot water with good pressure.
The beach with the footbridge in the village was very convenient for our son with a broken leg :). The food in tavernas was very tasty.

Very quiet and remote town, there is not a lot here at all. However for a Villa holiday with access to a car it is ideal! The views overlooking the bay are incredible if you can stay higher up the mountain. Nearest supermarket around a 10-15 minute drive.

A short drive of a few mins you get to a supermarket and a little cluster of great tavernas. Our favourite was Elpis- their prawns in particular were amazing. (Also small supermarkets right near) . Drive a bit further down to the main town of Almyrida, with loads of tavernas to choose from- we ate at Psaros restaurant which was brilliant, with an amazing seafood platter- right on the beach front.
Would advise a car to get round not only here- but lots of places in crete. Would highly recommend a trip to lake kournas, and getting a pedalo out on the lake. It was our favourite place.
