The location is perfect for Gramvousa & Balos tour. The local port promenade has more than sufficient restaurant options & all within walking distance. (Fish Tavern...unique Greek fish soup...my #1 choice for Europe so far!).

Kissamos is an excellent home base for trips to Balos and also for Elafonisi, much closer than Chania. There are also many restaurants along the beach in walking distance. We didn't swim there but it is possible. You might consider Falasarno for a few days for a beautiful beach with surf!

It’s a small town but we could enjoy walking along the beautiful beaches. There are some supermarkets so that we could get fresh vegetables and also fresh fish which were really tasty. There are a lot of buses and they are usually very on time. We could make our schedule smoothly and everything went super!

The place is very quiet and relaxing, especially during the dusk & the night where you can have your dinner in the big balcony & view all the stars in the sky, after a full day at the nearby beaches. Is a perfect location to visit west Crete, 15-20 min from the amazing Falassarna beach and 20 min from the parking place of the famous Balos beach. Also, it is less than 60 min to visit the unique Elafonisi beach.
I would definitely choose this villa again in my next visit to west Crete!

Kissamos was really chilled, laid-back, peaceful and friendly. If you're looking for a wild party scene, it's definitely not the place to come! But if you want tranquility and to feel safe whilst soaking up sun, nature, and local culture, it's perfect
Nice apartment in a good location near the main road. The apartment was a little tight for our family of 4, would be suitable for couples or families with young children. The pool was great, we spent a lot of time there. Location is very convenient for shorter drives to the beaches on the west side of the island. Excursions are offered, you should inquire before arrival so you can make reservations in advance. It is a nice quiet place to stay just minutes from Kissamos where you can go for dining or groceries.
Our room was ready earlier so we could check in before our check in time. That was a pleasant surprise because we just wanted to drop of our luggage since we were too early. Very clean and big hotel room. Supernice stuff and great service. Delicious breakfastbuffet. Nice view to sea during breakfast. Very good location to get to different beaches. Plenty parking spaces on roadside. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Really exceptional stay. Will recommend it to everyone. I will definitely come again!
Absolutely delightful in every respect. unlike so many places now, this is truly someone’s home and the hosts treat you as honored guests. The facilities are impeccably maintained and the decor is lovely. The pool is stunning and much better than in the pictures. The location near kissamos is very convenient and less than an hour drive to the most famous beaches on the island, but within minutes of many other nice beach options. But honestly you may never want to leave this amazing oasis!
The location of the hotel on the beach was perfect, and the beach itself very nicely done--not too crowded, and with nice service from the cafe to the beach, and beach towels given by hotel. Very clean! The restaurant offered very good food and is highly recommended! The view from the balcony was priceless. Easy short walk to the nearby big supermarket where guests can stock up on supplies if choosing to eat in the apartment. Wi fi worked well!
A little corner of paradise to be honest - out of all our entire trip on Crete, this was by far the best stay we’ve had. The place is in a perfect location to reach most of the famous island beaches and fairly away from the buzz of the city so that you can enjoy calm

During my recent trip to Kissamos, I had the pleasure of staying at Regina Hotel. This 3-star establishment exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel's location was only a few meters from the beach which was perfect for those seeking a beachside getaway. The hotel's free WiFi was also reliable throughout my stay, allowing me to stay connected with ease.
The location was perfect to explore Balos, Falassarna and Elafonissi. The breakfast was delicious with a big selection. We got a sea-view room, the hotel also has a private beach. The staff was super kind. There are nice tavernas nearby with delicious Greek and seafood dishes. Highly recommended when you visit West-Crete.
We had a wonderful holiday in Gramvousa Bay Hotel. Apartment was comfortable and spacious, with new kitchen appliances, extra clean. Location of the house is also excellent, it is near the best beaches in Crete, but outside from the crowd. The owners were welcoming and friendly. I kindly recommend this hotel for holiday.
The tent was very big, felt like a hotel room with a fridge and electricity inside. The food at the camping restaurant was the best we tried in Crete. The beach in front is cute, with the umbrellas and beds provided for free. In general you feel emerged in the middle of the nature. Great experience!
Luxury apartment in the new area of Kissamos where new holiday apartments are being built. The apartment was big and comfortable, with two large terraces. Very conveniently it is equipped with a washing machine and soap. An excellent base to visit places on the western parts of Crete.

The unit is new and very confortable with and unobstructed seaview. Great big balcony.Close to many Kissamos restaurants. One of the best appartment we had in our 2 weeks vacation in Crete.The beach is sandy if you go on the west side and perfect for swim.
