Gorgeous villa in the middle of an olive grove overlooking Heraklion. The villa was very clean and easily hosted me and my large group of friends (9 of us), as well as being very well stocked (there was even a first aid kit and aftersun lotion in the bathroom).
There were also two kitchens- one in the villa and one by the pool, which was useful since there was so many of us all waking up at different times- not to mention the functional BBQ and pizza oven. The pool was large and clean, with a pool cleaner coming halfway through our trip to ensure it stayed that way, and even had some large pool floaties.
The owner replied to my messages quickly and was very helpful when any issues came up.

Small village, very quiet place. The apartments have everything you might need for a simple vacation. For animal lovers, you will be greeted by some very friendly cats and a dog. I recommend it if you prefer a less touristy and quiet place. The apartments have everything you might need for a simple vacation.
There is little to do in the village itself, but Heraklion is only a 10-15 minute drive away.
The apartment is about 5 minutes by car to Ammoudara Beach. A little to the side of the main beach you can find a less busy place to swim.
Kronos Hotel is conveniently located 200 metres from Heraklion city centre and 700 metres from the port. It offers accommodation with a private balcony and it has a bar.

The staff are wonderful! We liked that it was close to shopping and food and we could walk to both. The manager came outside and helped us park. That was so nice of him!

I loved the common areas. They were spacious, friendly and nicely decorated. The cafe/bar area with view to the see, the calm patio and the swimming pool in the terrace with 360 view of the city and the sea felt peace and quiet.
The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The free water in the room and the coffee were very welcome.
Everybody was super polite and discrete.
The breakfast was fabulous ! A large variety of local dishes. I really enjoyed the fruits. The coffee was excellent.
The location is very good, in 2 minutes walk you are in the touristic city center.
