Though we were upgraded to a sea view room (we are returning guests) the room was VERY small and door of bathroom didn't close properly. Upon checkout the staff member said "yes we know"...

I did not like anything about this hotel. I felt like i was staying in a motel instead an hotel. Rooms were not comfortable at all. Cleanliness was bad. Just rough.

Excellent location on 1866 Square in the center of Chania, yet only 5 mins walk to the Old Town's excellent tavernas and Harbour. Stayed at the Arkadi many times over the past 25 years, and will return!!

The hotel is very stylish with all the stone
The location is perfect - very close to harbour. Even though there was no parking, Sifaka street is very close, so you can pull up literally like 10m from the hotel.
The staff is very helpful and professional
We had a room with a roof jacuzzi, and it was splendid
Didn’t stay long enough to review the local area. The hotel is close to a disused velodrome. The building of it was never finished. I guess money ran out but they are hopeful it will be completed one day.
