Swimming pool was an added bonus, especially when you just arrive and want to relax before setting off to explore. The suite was very cosy, with all of your essentials needed for cooking.

Excellent Location right on the beach only 5 minute walk to the Marina. hotel spotless and cleaned regularly. Attached to a Taverna which had an excellent menu and the quality of the food was great as well

Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They even lent me a beach umbrella for the duration of my stay! Room was cleaned/rubbish emptied etc. almost daily. Easy to find and close to some of the best beaches (Milos, Kathisma, Avali etc.) Would stay again and can recommend!

Exantheia is the picturesque original Greek village located at 550 meters above sea level. If it was 33°C by the sea on the beach, it was more than 7°C lower in the Exanthia. There is a beautiful view of the sea from almost every place in Exatheia. You will find typical Greek buildings inhabited by older Greeks. There are several restaurants in the village - I recommend Vasilikos Tavern and also the stylish restaurant with bar Rachi / Fly me. I also recommend the restaurant and cafe "Στο Καφενειο", which may not seem very luxurious, but they made excellent Frapé and were always full of Greeks

The view from the apartment balcony is magnificent, no wonder why they call it Exanthia Sunset.
The apartment was very very clean and equiped very well.
The host put an effort to small details to make your stay comfortable, cozy, relaxed.
The only thing I didn't like is the distance to Kathisma beach, the Booking info said 2.5km and in reality it was 13km. But, since it is my favorite beach, I didn't mind that much.

Spacious and fully equiped. The personnel kept the appartments/pool/terrace very clean (thank you ladies).
Ideal for (big) families.
You need a car to be able to get to beaches/restaurants.

The best place to stay on the island in my opinion.
The best place to stay on the island in my opinion. Its a beautiful small village with very friendly people and a great selection of restaurants.
The village is relaxed and away from the big crowds with absolutely stunning views over the ionian sea. Up in the hills but still perfectly located in the center of the island so all the beautiful beaches and go to spots are only a short drive away.
It also has very great restaurant and bar choices. Dont just go to the popular ones like Rachi and FlyMe. They are for sure amazing but also the other Tavernas like Vasilikos and Kafeneio offer high quality authentic food and super friendly service.
Exanthia is well worth the visit and i would definitely recommend this village as the place to stay during a trip to the island. But, you do need a car here!

1 week is too short for this beautiful place. I recommend staying for at least 10 days so you can visit everything and explore more of the beauties in Lefkada. The villa is in the perfect place right in the middle of the island therefor the locations you want to visit doesn't take that much time. Also the villa was perfect with 2 kitchens 5 bedrooms 2 big balcony and a pool where you can relax with a big company making some barbecue relaxing and chilling. It is the best vacation i have ever had and i will definitely go again!
