The hotel was impeccable, breakfast was delicious and slightly different each day, the pool was perfect, and the owners are two of the loveliest and most helpful people you could ever meet. The location is amazing: five restaurants literally within a stone's throw of the hotel and a wonderful black pebble beach about 400 metres away in the next bay. If you don't mind a bit of an uphill hike, there's a really interesting archaeological site on the hillside overlooking the bay.
The family-run Amimaya Apartments is located at the central square of the tranquil Emporios village, 200 metres away from the famous beaches of Mavra Volia and Foki.

Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of variety. Location was wonderful, I went there by bus and returned by taxi. Everybody was so kind and humanitarian. The room was quite clean and well-organized. I felt at home.Beaches are amazing for getting in touch with nature. There are many taverns for dinner and lunch. I will come here again and again.

A beautiful location at the southern end of the island, overlooking a gorgeous bay and with a real sense of privacy. The plumbing in our bathroom was a little haywire (lots of flooding), but the apartment was clean and comfortable and the grounds (especially the hammocks swinging from the trees) were very pleasant, complete with some friendly kitties (this is the Greek islands, after all). WiFi was surprisingly good for such a remote location, but you want to get here and just disconnect. :-)

The upstairs Apartment with 3 Bedrooms met our needs with front and rear Balconies. We had a Kitchen and made our own breakfasts some days. Shower and Bathroom adequate 3 Bedrooms 1 Single and 2 Doubles with WIFI. . Some of Nico's Family live below and cannot do enough for you. Lovely people. Great Shop nearby with all that you need. Also plenty of Tavernas open for Breakfasts if required. Perfect location for Komi Beach. Good location for any Southern Chios visits. The Tavernas in this area are fantastic and even cater for Off Menu foods if required. There are no costs for the Sunbeds on Komi Beach if you use the Tavernas. One even kept some for us as we travelled around in the daytime and went to Komi Beach late afternoon for a swim and drinks. We cannot say enough about Chios as the people and the Island is beyond beautiful...
We fell in love with the people and this Island. Cannot fault it. Go and find out for yourselves you will not be disappointed

it is such a cozy stay with many amends nearby. personnel is super friendly and always smiling and helpful even when it gets busy in the mornings. beach is 2 meters away with a sandy beach and shower. you can find nice restaurants nearby. it is quit and relaxing. if you are looking for more fun and party this might not be the best choice but for families and to relax it is the best. we will definitely go there again and i don't think we will even look for an alternative.
Very lovely village with very nice local people. Mavra Volia beach is so close, only 400 meters away from the center. There were five nice taverns with great port view right at the center. This village is good base for discovering the south of Chios. Easy to reach, easy to park.
