We had great time in Melia Sol Art Studios. The hotel is super cozy and stylish. The rooms were big, very comfortable and the view was just stunning. Ilenia was a great host. She helped us with everything during our stay, shared restaurant recommendations on the island and the best beaches. We feel like we have a home in Chios! :) Also as a bonus, we had the chance to see Ilenia's lovely art pieces in the hotel.

If you can swim in the sea - if there are no jellyfish - the sea and the beach are nice and sufficient, but Karfas is a very small city and inadequate. It is much more logical to stay in Chios and travel around by car and make day trips.

Karfas is a pleasant & quiet settlement, there are taverns, shops and a very nice beach. You can get free sun beds from the local taverns by just ordering something from them. There are plenty of streets and alleys and you can walk around.

Chios is an amazing island full of history, great beaches, wonderful family friendly people and amazing food. There are no tourist traps, the entire island is safe, so much so that people leave their cars and bourses I locked. I had an amazing time and the beaches at Karfas are sandy, with shallow calm turquoise water. Amazing place to be.
They were really good hosts. Breakfast was excellent. We fell really welcomed.
They even let us keep the room during the check-out day because the Hotel was quiet that day.
Room was fantastic really big with a living room, two balconies, bedroom and kitchen.
View was full and panoramic to the Agean sea. It is 10-15 minutes away from Port and maybe 5-10 minutes from airport. There were nice places to eat close by. There is a beach in walking distance.

Really happy we picked this hotel for our stay in Chios, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the facilities are great for families, 2 pools (one for kids and one for adults), really wide choice of breakfast options both hot and cold, and traditional Greek, and a private beach a few minutes away. The local restaurants are a short walk away. The views of the Aegean sea are magical.
I’d like to recommend to both families and couples who would like to goto Chios. The owner of the hotel - George is amazing guy. Although it was my fifth visit to Chios, he helped me to discover new amazing locations in the island. And we listened to old greek music together. Fantastic. As we hate open buffet, hotels breakfast was very good for us. We were served very delicious things.
We stayed for 3 days between 24-27 June. The owner of the hotel, Yannis, his wife and son are very good hosts. The breakfast was sufficient and very nice. The orange jam was delicious. the view is great. The pool is clean and big. The locatıon of the hotel is super and hotel is close to beach.We will come again.
Mr. Yannis is really friendly and smiling person. Helped me about everything. Place is nice and max. 10 mins to beach. It has a little kitchen, fridge and oven. All rooms have balcony and sea view. Karfas is a nice place to stay in Chios. BTW thanks a lot for gift. :)
there is nothing negative about this place. The hotel, location, staff, rooms, all are perfect and exceeds the expectations. It is very easy to get to the beach and the view is spectacular. We will definitely come back for our future trips.

Really marvelous view! Well located easy to access to Karfas beach by foot and to explore island’s historical points and lovely beaches by car. The breakfast is with wide varieties really enjoyed!
The view from the apartments is spectacular. Kostis was very kind and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The beach nearby the hotel is very beautiful as well, the water is shallow and clean.
Overall I really spacious and very clean hotel that is super close to really cute cafés and restaurants and the beach is just a three minute walk away. An excellent choice for the area!
Host of the hotel was lovely. Hotel is near to the public beach. There are sunbeds available for you. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Balcony was also nice.
Loved the owners, loved the apartment, it is so clean, beautifully decırated with greates view and so peaceful. The place is close to Karfas beach and cafes&tavernas.
