The flat was very well equipped and very comfortable. The swimming pool is perfect to enjoy time with kids and also swim. There were nice entertainment for both adults and kids the evenings. Despite high wind we really had a nice stay.

The Villa, which is set in its own grounds, exceeded nearly all of our requirements. From the moment the wonderful Stelios let us in we had the best of times. Each and every morning Stelios delivered breakfast (fresh bread, fruit, jam, butter, honey, Greek yoghurt, har boiled eggs, fruit juice..).
We alternated between the pool and the beach. Initially we used the beach in Plakias but later switched to the nearest beach (800m) in Damnoni. There is a good choice of eateries in Plakias with Stelios’s brother running the closest beach bar.
Just 300 metres from the sandy Damnoni beach, Damnoni Paradise is surrounded by lush greens and a meadow. It offers accommodation with a furnished terrace or balcony with garden views.

Good value for budget travellers. Nothing fancy but very clean and retro lodgings with a wonderful owner who is sweet and helpful with local knowledge. The location is perfect for access to the fantastic local beach. The grounds / gardens and beautiful and peaceful.

We were here for the second time and we enjoyed it as much as last year! Everything is great: the location, the rooms, the cleaning, the breakfast. We will most definitely return! For us it’s the best hotel in Plakias and the staff has played a great role in this!

Near the beach three tavernas with traditional Greek food. Nearby is Plakias; there are some supermarkets, two pharmacies and more taverns and restaurants.

Beautiful idyllic place close to Preveli and also to the more lively Plakias where you can find more supermarkets and services. The Mythos Taverna has an excellent menu and there are wonderful tavernas on the beach too. The walks around Damnoni are fabulous and there are water sports available on the beach

We had a really nice + relaxing time in Mythos Villas no 3. The apartment is nice, bright, spacious, clean, well equipped and has a big furnished terrace (outdoor furniture, sunbeds, umbrella). It is located in a quiet area in walking distance to Damnoni beach (with 2 tavernas) and to the even more beautiful Ammoydaki beach. Also the host (Eva) is really nice! The private pool is clean and big enough to swim a little. In order to see more from the island you need a car.

The location is excellent, the staff is super friendly specially the owners are very kind and accommodating. We even had diner at their restaurant Mythos next to the hotel/apartment and the food was excellent. Highly recommended , this was excellent experience considering I was raised in Greece and I know the culture very well to have a good judgment but I do live in NYC for the last 17 years and this was our first time in Crete!

Everything is just perfect, really spacious and clean room, great terrace and view, very close to three amazing beaches and restaurants, good supermarket 30 meters from the hotel, hicking track that leads to Kalipso beach. The room has everything you may need for along stay, complete kitchen facilities, not to mention the price or the host's, Andreas, hospitality. Look no further, this is the place to stay in Damnoni.
The house was excellent. Very big enough to accommodate even 12 persons with cheep price. The view from the balcony and the windows is amazing. Full facilities in the kitchen and the bath. There are three beaches near (Schoinaria, Damnoni and Ammoudi )about 10-20 min away and the big city of Plakias in 10 min. But most of all, the owners of the house are very kind and human.
Basic, clean, if somewhat dated hotel. The staff were friendly. The food options were very limited but tasty. If you like SCUBA there’s a dive centre adjacent to the hotel. The beach was a five minute walk. Quite a few different beach options within walking distance.
The hotel and the beach, the people, all exceeded our expectations and were a highlight of our trip.
The room and the beach were in reality much nicer than on pictures. The owners were very nice and hospitable.
This is a hidden gem that I can heartily recommend.
Location was great. Beach tavernas all excellent. Plakia just a 6 euro taxi ride if you want more nightlife. Really good beaches, several other coves in easy walking distance from Damnoni.
We had a very nice time at the hotel. We were welcomed by a very nice lady. She made us feel like in our own house and gave us some tips on what to do and were to eat during our stay.
