Staying at Ippola was a totally unique experience. The hotel is a historical building which has been restored with great love and attention to detail. It is situated in a tiny village right next to the sea. We loved the breakfasts and the chef explained how she used local ingredients and traditional food. We had an amazing room (junior suite) and sat on the balcony looking out over the village and views out to sea. We swam in the two beaches - one just across the road. Clear water with lots of fish. It was a totally relaxing and beautiful stay.

It was definitely the highlight of our trip. It is a cozy, rustic, silent and beautiful hotel. Since it is managed by a family, you can feel a personalised and welcoming service. I took the room with sea view which was amazing.
If I have the chance, I would love to come back again.
The hotel was great! The staff were great! The whole area is very calming and the hotel is very relaxing! Although Alika is a very small village, the combination of the hotel pool and area, a wine bar and a local taverna is everything one might need for a relaxing vacation!! The nearby beach is also very nice!!
