My heart was truly touched by the warmth and kindness that radiated from the Annes Hotel. From the moment I stepped through the doors, Mako greeted me with open arms and went out of her way to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. The bed linen was as soft as a comforting hug, mirroring the tenderness and compassion of the staff. The people I encountered were like angels, their generosity and care enveloping me in a sense of belonging. Annes Hotel will forever hold a special place in my heart, a haven of love and comfort in a world that can sometimes feel cold and distant.

Lali is an amazing host. She's a very enthusiastic woman and does everything to make you feel at home. Her energy, sense of humor and care for the guests makes her the soul of the place. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. She provided a FANTASTIC dinner (glass of wine and chacha included) and a phenomenal breakfast. She caters vegetarians easily.
The room was really spacious and comfortable, all very clean. Also the bathroom has a great shower with good pressure and hot water.
The dogs are lovely and the rest of their farm animals (sheep, goats, cows) are always around to make you enjoy their garden even more.
Views are mindblowing, super relaxed atmosphere tucked at the end of the valley.
I would totally recommend Lali's guesthouse, it really makes a memorable experience. Madloba dear Lali!

My favourite village of the trek and my favourite homestay of the trek. Shorena is a lovely lady and the family are really welcoming, fun and friendly. Her food was the best I had. Very traditional. I've been in Georgia for 6 weeks but her Kubdari was the best I ate as was her Ostri stew. She gave us loads of food. When we ate the bog bowl of Ostri stew she filled it up. Best of all, was after dinner, chilling in the hammock as full as a whale, looking at the view as the sun sets. Just awesome
This is why the alternative route is amazing. Tsvirmi still has a traditional quality about it and it's very quiet. Not many tourists at all. In fact we seemed to be the only ones around that night.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants great food, great hospitality and great views from the garden.

The place was simple but great, however food wasn't great and the prices were too high. They charge extra for dinner and breakfast. Too expensive.

This is the best guesthouse you can stay in this village. The owner is a great person and he sincerely treated us as his dearest guests. He is a direct descendant of a family that had lived in this house for 900 years. The house itself has a part which was deliberately left untouched so you can see with your own eyes how Svan people lived 900-300 years ago. I cannot stress enough how awesome this place is and how hospitable the owners are! Staying there was one of the best experiences we had not only during the Mestia to Ushguli track but during our entire trip around Georgia.
