Staff very friendly. Room clean. Dinner excellent. Service at both dinner and breakfast was very good. I appreciated having a proper pot of tea at breakfast and the muesli was excellent.

The garden suite (Thyme) was amazing, an an unexpected upgrade to the room we paid for. So tranquil and well equipped, loved the comfort and design with the bifolding doors onto the patio and the skylight. The breakfast was great too with lots of choice! Amazing experience

Small village but in a great location to explore Somerset, immediate locality of Sherborne and the Jurassic coast which is beautiful. Very picturesque and enough facilities from the accommodation and in the locality for a great chilled long weekend away for us.
Fave places were the Jurassic Coast - Swanage lovely - Acorn Inn in Evershot did and amazing Sunday roast.
