Very clean and great facilities in the room with homely touches.
Unexpected lovely little bar area and restaurant made the evening meal very enjoyable. Comfortable sofas and chairs. Food basic but good. Had the salmon and prawn platter which was excellent.

Truly first class accommodation, from the ultra comfy beds to the superb layout, including the three bathrooms and the spacious kitchen, lounge dining area. Nearly forgot to mention the central location with shops, takeaways, a superb butchers and a pub within easy reach. The nice touch of actual live plants in the living space was appreciated.

Great location, the tent has everything we needed and more (cooker, fire pit for BBQ, fridge, kitchenware, kettle, table chairs). The children’s beds and table & chairs were an excellent touch. Facilities are good and clean. Hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful - brought toys out and a mud kitchen for my girls. Lovely swing, quiet area, peaceful with wildlife (birds, rabbits). I’ll be coming back with some more family!
Very convenient for Woodhall Spa golf resort. We also went to Lincoln which was only 30 mins away well worth a visit. Some lovely local restaurants in the town - no chains. Also nice local shops. Highly recommend the Mediterranean restaurant - ate there twice - food fresh and delicious.

Woodhall Spa is a lovely, quaint little town with interesting independent shops down a long and attractive high street. Some road closures whilst I was there made it hard to get to-I assume these were temporary. Appeared to be a golfers paradise! The book shop and deli are well worth a visit.

A fantastic hotel to stay in. Very well located for visiting Bomber Command Memorial, East Kirby Heritage Centre, Battle of Britian Memorial Flight and the City of Lincoln. If travelling to Lincoln use the Park and Ride it's so much easier and cheaper than parking in the city. We will definitely be returning to Petwood Hotel.

This was a short visit to celebrate my husband's birthday. After a lovely stay at Petwood Hotel we looked around Woodhall Spa (although we had been there before). Parking is easy - the first 2 hours are free or park on the road. There is a Sainsburys just near to the centre. The individual shops are very interesting. A delightful bread shop/deli, cafes and an independent greengrocer (which is rare) were all well stocked and the staff were very friendly.

Spinney on the Green is an outstanding property, beautifully designed, thoroughly well supplied with all you would need for a stay, and extremely comfortable. The breakfast groceries (cereal, plum loaf, orange juice, et cetera) were completely unexpected and a lovely addition to an already excellent property. The location is lovely - surrounded by trees and thirty seconds from the golf course and country lanes winding down to Woodhall Spa itself. On a warm summer evening, the patio makes a perfect place to sit and watch the stars come out.
Everything in the property is to an extremely high standard and it is spotless everywhere. It is sunny and warm and It has a wonderful patio overlooking the garden and golf course at the end. Parking is right at the front door so no long hauls with luggage. On top of all that Michael provides extras over and above what is expected from milk to wine and crisps and from teas of various specialities to a coffee pod machine and biscuits. There is nothing to fault.
Interesting old building full of character. Large bedroom and bathroom. Toiletries and tea and coffee tray. My elderly brother had a room equipped for a disabled person with a large accessible shower which was ideal for him. This was in answer to my request at the time of booking.The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lift. We stayed in this hotel many years ago and should we return to Woodhall Spa,we would stay there again.
Staff were all exceptional and very helpful. The hotel has a lovely relaxed feel set in a fabulous location very close to the village of Woodhall Spa and some great shops and local walks. Room very comfortable and lovely bathroom.
Food choices for the evening meal were good and the chef was very accomodating in adapting the menu to our needs. Breakfast freshly cooked.
Wonderful apartment in the centre of Woodhall Spa. The attic space rooms was well equipped and fitted out. Easy walk to the key locations in the town. We stayed Thur/Fri evenings and the bonus for us was it was 40's weekend so the street outside was lined with vintage vehicles and people in period costume. Plentiful off-road parking at the rear of the property.
The hotel & gardens were absolutely stunning to say the least. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and welcoming. We stayed for one night and I wish we had booked two! We enjoyed our breakfast, it was perfect with plenty of options. Situated in a perfect area of Woodhall Spa, we will definitely be returning and recommending! Thankyou all at Petwood x
Everything, the house was lovely, the garden looked lovely obviously didn't get to use it much as the weather wasn't good but did have a wander round, unfortunately we were in woodhall spa for a funeral but the house was a perfect base, clean comfortable and well equipped and the little village is lovely too, and the welcome gift was a lovely touch as well
A lovely setting and grounds but the whole does need a bit of a facelift. The staff were trying hard, although seemed a bit overwhelmed by customers sometimes when the hotel was not full (!) and my bar meal was no better than OK. Lots of interesting 617 Squadron memorabilia, and 20 minute walk from the golf course.
The lodge is in a lovely location in peaceful surroundings. Andy very kindly provided a travel cot for my grandson and provided us with the necessary information. We have visited Woodhall Spa numerous times but it was our first visit to Orchard View. I would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.
The proximity to the centre of Woodhall Spa was ideal, making for a short walk of 10 minutes maximum. The cooked breakfast provided to our door was delicious and made to order, extras and all! The hosts (Bob and Donna) were amiable and went that extra mile to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
AIR CONDITIONED. Room was cool on arrival having spent the previous night at a neighbouring hotel at twice the price with only the smallest of fans I actually slept in this room. Breakfast was amazing - again in an air conditioned environment- great choice and nothing too much trouble.
The location, woodhall spa is a lovely quaint town with lovely shops and places to eat. The lodge felt luxurious, great home cinema with netflix available, nice little touches including a welcome box with essentials and treats. The hot tub is relaxing looking over the lake.
The location is superb. The site is small, clean well equiped, friendly and it felt very safe for children to play. The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Woodhall Spa is a lovely town to visit with lots to do. I couldn't recommend enough.
