Very friendly and informative staff at Reception. Comfortable, traditional room with all we needed for our overnight stay. Hotel is on a split site (rooms on one side of the road, lovely bar and restaurant on the other). Great deal on our evening meal, lovely breakfast and all staff were excellent! Plenty of parking availability. Just what we like!

Woburn is beautiful, the safari is amazing!

Woburn is beautiful, the safari is amazing! The walking trails are beautiful! Green king takes advantage of this!! Road noise was horrendous 😱from around 4.30 am! The place was great but if I was to return if I couldn’t have a rear room I wouldn’t go!!

We stayed over to break the journey up from Newcastle to Kent. We went to Woburn safari park, it was amazing, drive around the safari as many times as you want up until an hour before the park closes, takes on average 1hr to 1:45 to do a circuit. Then there’s the walk safari which was ok. Nice leisurely walk. Would definitely visit here in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the lovely town of Woburn. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped for the money. The manager was delightful and helpful, and so were all the staff. I stayed for one night to meet some friends and enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept like a baby. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cosy and friendly place to stay in Woburn.

Woburn is a great old English town outside of Woburn Abby. The town of Woburn has a number of small restaurants, a few taverns and most famous of all is Woburn China shop which everyone will find worth a visit.

I should never of booked the woburn

I should never of booked the woburn They are not family friendly at all please don't sell this hotel as family friendly and also they are not speacial needs friendly at all they couldn't accommodate my autistic son which we then had to leave with family at home! Breakfast is very small and very poorly cooked, they served the adults and the children had to wait 20mins after the adults for their food which the adults food was finished also there was not a lot of choice for children at breakfast leading me to think they would not like children to stay there. Fire alarm went off at 6.20am with no staff checking on guest and not even a sorry (later found out it was staff error in the kitchen of not opening an extractor fan) we had frightened children in our room! Then when getting back to to sleep the cook started to play music full blast under our room at 7 20am which you could hear crystal clear in our room again with no sorry from staff. No water for showers in my room lead us to have to use another room across a busy bar to get a shower and then return to our room to get ready which was laughable.

The safe in the room was locked by a previous guest and we were unable to open it. We reported it and the receptionists were very unhelpful and told us some safes in hotel not working and waiting for a locksmith. This meant we had to carry passports and jewellery with us constantly. Room was above the bar and was so noisy we could actually hear the conversations below!! The floor in the room was very uneven and on a slope. We would not consider this hotel to be a 4* rated hotel.

David and Sharon were great hosts. My request for an early breakfast on the first morning was granted and it was delicious. My evening meal was served promptly and again was of a very high standard. The atmosphere in the bar was very friendly and I was made to feel welcome by the locals. I would certainly stay again and recommend the hotel and staff to anyone thinking of staying in the Woburn vicinity.

A beautiful olde Inn style hotel. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Given my room which was booked as a single. I was given room 4. It was ideal as a short stay. Excellent read on the history of the Inn. Quite fascinating going back through the ages to before 1066. Overall very impressed with the hotel and would certainly use this inn again. Breakfast was £9.99 on top.

This is a beautiful traditional Hotel with lovely decor. I love the outdoor area and gardens. The bedroom's were very clean with plenty of toiletries and towels. Bed was very comfortable with a lovely fluffy duvet and bed linen. Windows could be opened which to me is a huge bonus! Great location in the village and proximity to lovely walks within the Woburn Park.

We had a wonderful stay at Havisham House with its beautiful rooms and garden. Adam is a kind and generous host and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We were particularly appreciative of his recommendations for restaurants and bars, and as a result we dined well in Woburn and look forward to returning.

Beautifully appointed property, stylishly designed with an eclectic and tasteful art collection. Adam was the perfect host; warm, welcoming and treated us as his house guests. Highly recommended.
