Amazing staff,. Superb bar and downstairs area, Fabulous large room and very comfy bed.. I arrived at 10.50pm and the shower tray in my room was dirty and the 2 girls on duty could not have been more helpful and one of them cleaned it for me.. the level of genuine customer service is a rarity today.

Upon arrival at the property on 12 July 2023 it was found to be dirty, particularly the kitchen and bathroom - most certainly not fit to live in. We had to stay one night (we booked it for 6 weeks) and advised the owner of the state the following morning, He tried to redress the issues but to no avail - we asked for a full refund but he refused (£4300) - we took over 45 photos to prove our issues. WE then had to spend over £5000 to find alternative accommodation to the 6 weeks. We then began a complaints procedure with Booking.com but they we not interested - said they were just a platform and were not responsible for the state of the property. The owner said we had to deal with Booking.com directly!! Neither took ownership! WE had no alternative but to seek legal advice to try and obtain a refund! It cost over £2000 but had to stop the case as it would cost in th region of £10000 to take it to court and even if we won we would not get our legal fees back!! So potential renters, be very careful when considering renting this property - it is not as is billed in blurb! The owner even accused us of damaging the property - we are two pensioners nearing 70 years of age!! We feel so let down with this issue and the owner has taken our money without any offer of redress whatsoever - a shocking experience that means we would never use Booking.com again even though they wished us all the best in our quest for a refund! This is the second time I have written this feedback - the first did not appear on the site!

Winsford is a delightful market town in Cheshire, with a pleasant walks around the Flashes and Whitegate Way, the historic town is often overlooked by tourists but it is now coming into it's own. The salt mine is well worth a visit and there are a number of wonderful pubs and bars that will welcome the thirsty traveller.
The new Aldi supermarket will provide a suitable landmark for the town centre, being close to the large Witherspoon's pub that is the local centre of culture and political discussion.

Family holiday, stayed here for a week. Great facilities, nice sized garden, Spacious rooms. Everything we needed was provided in the property. The garden was completely secure for our tiny dogs.
Great base to explore surrounding areas, we explored Chester and Liverpool. We used the train station in Winsford for this so we hardly used the car.
Justin was a great host, he answered a few questions we had via messages within half hour.
We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.
Thank you Justin.
I have travelled a lot and stayed in lots of B & B's and hotels and this is definatley my favourite place to stay. The owners are so friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble. If they can help, they will. They are wonderful people. Every time I have stayed (and that is lots!), the rooms are lovely and immaculate.
I know if I book a room at the Winsford Lodge that I have peace of mind that the room will be of a high standard, and if there is anything else I need, all I have to do is ask.
I was contacted in advance by the hotel-owner, who provided accurate information on what to expect on arrival (where the room was be located, where to find the key, etc), since she possibly wouldn't be on-site at that time.
Roomy downstairs and main bedroom, detached nice and quiet. Room for two cars on the driveway.
All the normal kitchen facilities and private garden.
Better than a hotel when travelling as a family with multiple adults.
The rooms were spotlessly clean. During our stay Winsford lost its water supply, the owner asked if we needed any bottled water. Great location, down the road from the train station.
