The location for me was perfect, away from the bustle with an excellent frequent bus service to the village & beach as well as Chichester. Great local gastro pub that is walkable. I loved the peace, the gardens & the beautiful Garden Suite Chalet. Sarah was the perfect hostess, breakfast in the conservatory was great & nothing was too much trouble. A perfect romantic escape, or solo hideaway. I absolutely loved it & would book again 🥰

Brilliant location, free and safe parking space just on the front of the property, a few minutes drive to the beach and local shops, fish and chips and Tesco. The distance to the beach by foot is just around 10min.Very peaceful place, massive space in an open plan kitchen with all equipment you need, the garden is huge, extra bonus for hot tub.Beds are extremely comfortable, fluffy towels. Stunning two bathrooms, spotless clean. Really enjoyable stay would definitely come back soon!

Nice beach. You could also do a nice walk on East Head. Parking is too expensive if you only stay for an hour. East Wittering with shops and restaurants is close. There are also fishing opportunities. A bicycle would be ideal to move around.

West and East Wittering offer sandy beaches when tide is receding, east is not so busy and even a low tide the sea is near and very safe as shallow. East Wittering has two named supermarkets, two butchers and two fishmongers with a selection of small shops for beach toys etc The coffee shop is lovely and serves great food and we enjoyed fish and chips from the village, almost no reason to venture in the car.

We visited off season and the weather was not great, which of course detracted form the overall enjoyment of the area. However, it was easy to appreciate that West Wittering sandy beach was about as good as you'll come accross. The sheer size of the car park at the beach, which was largely empty during our visit apart from dog walkers, hinted that it might get quite crowded in summer! East Wittering village had an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Less populated with tourists than the usual seaside resorts in the area and great sandy beach. East Wittering village has a great range of restaurants and other shops you may need, although the beach at the 'East' end is more stoney. The location is also great for exploring Chichester and Arundel.

West and East Wittering both have their part to play.

West and East Wittering both have their part to play. Each are delightful. It’s a beautiful part of the country. Although I’m reluctant to say more in case lots of people go there and spoil it! The Boulevard is a great place to eat especially breakfast and lunch. Drifters is a perfect post Beach drinks and dinner spot.
