Lots of character, :glad i picked this as compared with modern and characterless. Everything was dead right ie quiet room, convenient free parking, onsuit bathroom with bath and shower, doubleroom for the price of single. All the staff were friendly, offering help with suitcase etc. I will definately recommend them to oakhall holiday expeditions in the area for others to use.

A small viilage with one pub which serves really nice food, but is closed on a Monday. There is an old church and village green where they play cricket. There are no shops as far as we could see. However, by car you could get to shops on fast roads relatively quickly.
The village is very quiet and restful and well located to explore the local area.
