Situated on the ground floor with all fittings and equipment like new except the worn out anti-sticky pan. Good isolation and heating which made us warm and comfortable throughout the nights. Free parking at the back of the building is an advantage. Supermarket could be found down on the street.

Big, comfortable, and very clean room and shower. Excellent establishment, you walk in, and you understand how well maintained and looked after it is straight away. Private parking was a plus.
The staff were very professional, the food was great. The location is excellent, on the river, next to a few little walk/hike pathways.

This is totally my sort of hotel. Give me a slightly past-its-best characterful hotel, full of history and charm, any day. Creaky floorboards, lovely old beams in the restaurant. Very quiet, peaceful setting, right by the River Thames. Beside a lovely church and attractive cottages. And yet so close to London and urban sprawl if you need it. Nice friendly staff. A great breakfast. Decent dinners.
