Food in the restaurant was above expectations. Staff was polite and professional.
Value for money is also fantastic.
Would definitely come back if we visit the Lakes again.

I love the atmosphere in the pub. The food was excellent with a really good selection including a number of gluten free and vegetarian options. My room was clean and had everything I might need and was very affordable. I like that there are walking routes starting directly from the car park. It’s also only a 20 minute drive from here to Wasdale which makes it a fantastic base camp for a number of the highest mountains in the area. There were a number of options for the included breakfast and my eggs Benedict was delicious.
The award-winning Bridge Inn is set in the picturesque valley of Wasdale in the Western Lake District.

Pretty much everything
Originally was booked at Stanley house. I arrived and this lady answered the door and said are you sure you booked which alarm bells were ringing
She told me to check my messages but there weren't any. Then she told me to call the phone to be transferred then the guy on the phone transferred me to the Woolpack inn.
To be fair the staff were lovely at the Woolpack Inn.
Really good comfy bed!
