Rooms were clean. Excellent welcome at reception. Plenty of tea and coffee and liked the addition of a couple of chocolates. Good shower, good light above mirror in room for applying makeup.
Dog friendly.

Stayed in a family suite and really appreciated the small extra space for our daughter to sleep in - allowed us to relax in the evening and watch tv without worrying about waking her.
Room was very clean and well presented.
Staff in the dining room at breakfast were nice and attentive (we didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel).

The apartment was beautiful and clean and very well equipped. We loved waking up in the morning with a stunning view of the lake and the wild life all around. The owners were responsive when we had any queries and checked we were having fun during our weekend break.
The property was ideally situated for walking into picturesque Upton for shopping and eating out. We had a lovely time.

We sat on riverside terrace at The Swan with an amazing supper, and beautiful views over the River Severn and glorious gold and purple sunset. There is free parking at the rugby club opposite the church and there are many places to choose to eat. Two riverside pubs, a tapas bar with live entertainment on the Friday when we were there and other pubs and Indian restaurants. In daytime there are lots of antique shops to browse.

What a fabulous town to visit.
What a fabulous town to visit. On the banks of the river Severn, several quality traditional pubs and a tapas restaurant all within meters of each other, friendly locals, probably a very nice place to live. Why would you ever leave.

A pretty little town, with a couple of cafes, pubs and restaurants all in close proximity. Some situated along the river, which would be perfect on a Summer day. A variety of cuisine. We had meals at The Boathouse (tapas), Mojito bar (pizza and as name suggests a variety of mojitos!), and Sunday roast at the Lions Head. Can also recommend Henry's cafe and bookshop. Perfect for a short getaway. Also everywhere welcomes dogs.

We very much loved the river and the Tudor Museum was a delight to look round. We had two meals out in the evening, but there're numerous venues to choose from. We chose Tapas at the Boat House and Asian food at Pundits. We ate in the other two nights. I would happily stay in Upton again, as it's near many places of interest.
