Spacious room with en-suite both of which were well appointed and the room included a fridge. The location and outlook offered good relaxation with easy and quick access to the Lake District. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet with a great choice. In all a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Everything was just perfect. This was my first solo trip and I was more than a little apprehensive. But the Staff were so friendly and put me at ease - I most definitely will go back again. I loved the atmosphere in the Hotel; the decor and the ability to use the pool . Breakfast was also just what was needed.
One of the reasons I choose to stay here was that it was in quite a central location and there was lots to see in the surrounding area. Well done to all at Embleton. Thank you for a lovely few days.

The location is great. Stunning views and accessible walks from the property. I noticed a bus stop outside the entrance, although we never used it I’m sure if we had stayed longer it would have been handy. The grounds are stunning, the garden is well maintained and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the staff are attentive and happy to help. The concierge staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful, even after a late check-in time. There are thoughtful touches that really make you feel looked after, such as: the forecasted weather being printed, reusable bottles, pamphlets available and knowledgeable staff too.
The specials for dinner looked incredible, had we not spent the first two days out all day walking and sightseeing we would have loved to have made it in time for an evening meal at the B&B. It smelled amazing when we returned!
The view from our little room was lovely! We could hear the birds (and the lambs) in the morning which was a wonderful experience.
You can catch a beautiful sunset from the grounds as it dips behind the peaks. The walk down the the lake is apparently 30 mins although we never got a chance to go down, I was told the walk is pleasant.

We were cycling the Reivers way. The property was on the route! Directly opposite the village shop to buy our evening meal as it was a Monday and the pub wasn't serving food! Perfect for our requirements
