Our stay here was perfect - the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was pristine and comfortable, and the included breakfasts were delicious. We found it a good base to explore parts of the Cotswolds from and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is centrally located in lovely Shrivenham with plenty of parking in front and at the rear, where there is a beer garden and terrace. We stayed in a quiet, ground floor room in the annexe to the main building, which was well equipped with a very modern bathroom. There was more than adequate storage with a large wardrobe and chests of drawers with bedside lighting. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Best of all was the welcome shown to us by the staff, who were attentive for the duration of our stay.

Fabulous food, very helpful staff - made us a sandwich for our late arrival, pretty location, very comfortable room with home made shortbreads and hot chocolate. Let us put our muddy bikes into an easy access room.

We both had a really lovely stay!
As always the hosts Astrid and Tony were extremely attentive and very knowledgeable of the surrounding local area. Astrid gave us some wonderful recommendations to do during our stay, which was appreciated!
She also helped us prepare for a BBQ with everything we needed including the BBQ, fuel for the fire, utensils and condiments, which was great.
The dogs Zach and Nala were a lovely addition to breakfast and great play mates at dinner in the garden.
The room had everything including a coffee maker, kettle, and microwave, with a lovely addition of milk, water, juice and biscuits.
We will definitely come back again!
