Situated in Nefyn, 36 km from Portmeirion, Gwesty Nanhoron Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

The staff are so helpful and lovely. We only stayed 1 night, I wish it was longer. Dinner at the hotel was excellent. It gets busy so I would recommend booking. The room had everything you need. We had to leave early the next day as we was running in a local event, the hotel kindly made us a pack lunch instead of breakfast to take on our run.

The room was very nice and quite a lot of space. Comfortable beds. Bathroom seemed newly rebuilt and fresh. Beautiful view of the Mountain from the room and the bar was very nice with a small " cave" with a fire place. Perfect for a whiskey and chat with friends and locals. Staff were so nice and caring!

Rooms were good. Dinner meals were pretty bad. Not at all appetizing. We went elsewhere after that one meal.

Trefor is an unspoilt quiet fairytale Welsh village with pure air and mountain water, as well as a stream running through it. The beach is easily accessible by a path scented by dense shoulder-high orchids growing on either side. Although there is almost no vehicle traffic, Trefor has a village store open very long hours and a post office.

Small very friendly village, great starting point for walking, but it had only one shop and a working mans club type pub. No where to eat out in walking distance so had to drive to find somewhere. No choice of what to do in the evening, very limited if you had children. Okay if you don’t mind driving everywhere.
