A truly amazing place to stay. We were with friends and all of us would highly recommend a return visit. Made to feel very welcome. The bedroom was excellent, clean and comfortable. We were treated as though we were personal guests and had the use of an imposing lounge complete with log fire. The breakfast was very good. We wished that we could have stayed longer.

A 'new build' with good quality new looking furniture (May 2024) fully equipped kitchen (though we only used the kettle). The unseen host supplied us milk (thank you). Parking right outside, the centre of town 10 minutes stroll, the park five minutes away. Good bed linen and towels...
The property is in Fenny Bentley, not Tissington. There is a bus linking the village with Ashbourne and Buxton, but a car or personal vehicle is almost essential as it is in nearly all rural locations in the UK.
