The Bridge Inn, hotel in Tenbury

Set in Tenbury, 48 km from Ironbridge Gorge, The Bridge Inn offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Free WiFi is available and Lickey Hills Country Park is 48 km away.

First time I've stayed here , good location, on site parking but could be tight as not a great deal of parking . Nice old Inn at the side of the river . Meals are mostly Pizza or Burgers, I had one of the burgers with fries , very nice butchers burgers . Nicely priced as well . Room was spacious and clean, on-suite was nicely refurbished . Mattress was memory foam and very comfortable. This was also one of those Rare pubs that actually served breakfast included in the room rate . Overall a pleasant night's stay will certainly put on my list of places to return to

We visited the Mistletoe Festival on the Friday and Saturday and a lot of the venues providing their support. The people were great to get on with. We visited the Regal to see the Tenbury Town Band perform, Unwined bistro, the historic Pump Rooms and the Market Tavern with twelve hand-pulled real ales... they were the main highlights for us. We had a choice of two Indian Restaurants a King's Thai, two supermarkets and numerous eateries along the main through-roads. Lots of blue plaques to follow to give us a sense of the local history. So good it made us feel we need to go back for other events and holidays.

    Great hotel with friendly staff.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Location was a little remote but the food was very good so it was well worth it to eat in the restaurant in the evenings. Breakfast was also very good too. Would definitely recommend it to fellow travellers

Tenbury and the surrounding villages of the black and white...

Tenbury and the surrounding villages of the black and white heritage trail are wonderful. The main street in Tenbury had lots of local shops but we didn't get to stop and look as we had to move on. Would have liked to spent another day there.

A very historic town with good access to others, such as Ledbury and also the Shropshire hills. An excellent Indian restuarant in the town is Bahar, with a wide choice of different dishes - couldn't fault it.

Right from the outset the staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Angela took us under her wing and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The setting is stunning, rooms are clean, spacious and tastefully decorated, food is delicious, pool is added bonus and can't thank the hotel enough. We will be back.

Very clean and comfortable. The owner went out of her way to provide a welcoming environment. A wide selection of good quality goodies were waiting for us in the bedroom, which was an extremely thoughtful touch. The house was in a great location, within walking distance of Tenbury.

Excellent selection of cooked breakfasts, although all at the same price. Accommodation set apart from the main hotel so no problem with noise from the bar or dining room. Comfy beds and clean bathroom. Heating adjustable with thermostatic radiator valves

The rooms were very comfortable although the showers were quite small. We loved the room overlooking the river but the other room was a little dark at the back of the hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic - perfect poached eggs!
