The location of the hotel was top-notch - absolutely next to the beach and in the quieter part of the town too. However, supermarkets and restaurants were just a 5-minute walk away.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room had all the facilities needed for a short weekend stay.

As something of a history buff staying in such surroundings was quite special, the evening reception gentlemen were particularly helpful---it was a really foul evening weather wise and allowed me to leave my car in the "reception" car park rather than battle the elements walking from the regular one. Only wish I could have stayed a little longer (in better weather) to appreciate the grounds fully.

The house was ideally positioned with easy access to main roads across the south coast of England. Easy to get to the ferry port in Portsmouth and to go to Brighton.
Chichester is very close and has all types of cusine and is a nice city to visit for a day out. Lovely traditional high street shopping.
