The Tamworth Arms is a great place to stay, with friendly staff, very good food and clean rooms. We enjoyed our walk around the town. The castle looked lovely all lit up at night. It would have been nice to have been there during the day to visit the castle and find out more about the King of Mercia.

What a beautiful place. There are some lovely green areas and riverside walks. The whole place was litter free and the people were really friendly. There were so many activities to do and some fabulous shopping facilities. Well worth a visit.

Tamworth has a lot in it.

Tamworth has a lot in it. A massive retail park with loads of shops, even got a Primark, lots of food options on it too, Nandos, Pizza Exp, Mcdonalds, KFC and loads more. There's big ski centre, its got everything if you want to venture out at night or find yourself short of something you forgot to pack.

The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at.

The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at. Unfortunately the town centre looked tired and neglected. To many closed down pubs and shops. Shame because the pubs that are open are good, as are some of the shops.

Frida, Saturday and Sunday and Monday I would rate as ( to 9.5) Sunday afternoon I would rate as ZERO or negative. The BAR STAFF WERE ATTROCIOUS for this reason I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Also which I believe is illegal NO INSTRUCTIONS for IN CASE of Emergency!!!! HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET A LICENSE TO OPERATE. Already contacted Tamworth council and Fire Brigade

this is the second time I've stayed at The Peel and, as before, it's a great hotel in Tamworth. Brilliant location, lovely staff and comfortable rooms. I was given a four-poster bed room which was a nice surprise. Very comfortable and will visit again.

Comfortable and mostly quiet room, the shower was very powerful which I like. Free parking and the place is easy to find. Staff were friendly. Bear in mind that this is a theme park, luckily that part was closed so the hotel was quiet.

The staff were very friendly & polite & the location is fantastic for town centre. It is also a dog friendly hotel. I would stay there again as I said above , we were probably just unlucky with the problems we came across.
