Staff were super helpful when I had failed to book a dog friendly room in error. Also bringing us some breakfast items the night before as we were leaving early in the morning. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodleighton Cottages. From the welcome pack which greeted us on our arrival to the checking in from Rachel over the duration of our stay to see if everything was okay or whether we needed anything or help with anything. It was truly a 1st Class service and most definitely a 5 star accommodation. The Cottages are a short distance to the race course or to the town centre. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending Woodleighton to our family and friends .
We stayed here after a day at Alton towers nice location...
We stayed here after a day at Alton towers nice location incredibly friendly and helpful staff food was amazing!! Breakfast was really good nicely decorated and overall a lovely stay and 20 min drive from Alton towers
Very homey feel to the hotel and friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and fulfilled our needs. A lovely outdoor garden area at hand should we wished to use it which was very well kept. We used the hotel as an overnight stay to visit Alton Towers and found that is was relatively close enough.
Friendly and polite staff made the stay pleasant. Hotel was easy to locate and check in was seamless. Comfortable and clean rooms, fantastic food which was reasonably priced, green surroundings and the place has some character to it. Overall, we enjoyed the stay here.
A lovely little hotel that was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Great breakfast and a delicious evening meal. Will definitely use this hotel again if we're in the area.
We booked a king-size room which was very spacious and clean. The hotel is next to a railway line, but the room was very quiet and we never heard any trains. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful
We had an evening meal at the hotel which was very tasty, super hot and quickly served. Slept well in a comfy bed and then breakfast the following morning was great. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.
The rooms were nice, clean and freshly done. The one big thing for us as a couple so many hotels have only one comfortable seat in there room and the second person has to sit on the bed or office chair. The boars head has two!
The staff were very polite and friendly. Car park was ample for the size of the hotel. We loved the food, it's was excellent. Location is great for touring South Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
Our grandson aged 15 months old was with us and the staff couldn't do enough. This.made our stay so relaxed and enjoyable. The whole atmosphere at the hotel was lovely.
